I haven't tried the 510 cartos from Jack as he has just received them. I am not to fussy about the KR8s though, there is an off taste. From what I understand, many have experienced this with the KR8s and is not limited to a particular vendor.

I received a gift from a mbr 510 cartos from Ikenvape and they are solid, both on the eG0 and 5V. One must be careful at 5V, and not hit 'em too hard. I prefer them on the eGo. 3.7V is alright, but as you know the eGo is magical even with cartos. No funky taste at any voltage but a tad harsh at 5V.

From what I have read, there are several mfrs making cartos and they are not all the same. Finding a vendor that has good ones is like a pig and a poke.

Someone is making these.cartomizers - E-Cigarette Forum this type from what I have gathered are excellent in both the KR8s and 510 as well as LR.

I have tried the 510 carto's and kr8 carto's from Happy Vaper on the eGo as well as the 510.

In my personal opinion I find the 510 carto's my personal preference now.

Kr8 carto's I find runs hot and sometimes with excessive use can burn your lips.

the 510 carto's on the other hand is just perfect, not as hot, holds lots of juice and great flavour and TH.

So I'm liking these a lot better than the 808s. The flavour seems a lot more true and I'm not getting that crappy metallic taste that I was from the 808s. These are the soft tip variety with no rubber o-ring underneath the white cap. They are slightly short for the eGo cone but feel great with the delrin t-tip + cone if not a bit long. Next purchase, delrin shorty t-tip to get the length juuust right.

If they are of the top bridge type like in the link, they are no good for dripping.

Q: Why would anyone want to drip with a carto, isn't that defeating the purpose of the carto?

I do it when the carto starts tasting a little burned, even after a refill. It usually eliminates the burned taste once I take out the batting and it gives me a little more life out of them, makes it work like new for a day or so.

I'm just a cheapskate, hoping I could do the same with these

Thanks for letting me know :D
