Since the holes on the KR808D-1 Models are on the batteries instead of being on the cartomizers, some parts will not fit as "correctly" as they should when the cartomizers are twisted on all the way.

Try unscrewing the cartomizer to align the rectangular cutouts of the cartomizer with the holes in the battery.

When the holes in the battery are aligned with the rectangular cutouts on the cartomizer, you should be able to get a smoother draw out of it.

I had a "hard draw" problem with a 510 Mega Cartomizer. I straightened a paper clip and gently worked it in from the battery end until it came through the stuffing (I previously removed the white tip to use a drip tip on the mouth end). Once I had worked it through, I gave it a few turns and it opened up the airway. I think the wire inside was blocking the airway. Be very careful while working the paper clip into the cartomizer so you don't damage or break the wire. Works great now.
