Hard question to Place - Juices that Crack Plastic.....

So I was in Home Depot today and found that 1/2" pipe is a perfect fit for the little mama tanks. My question is: Is copper pipe safe to use for liquids that would break plastic tanks? It's not being heated so I don't think it should be a problem but figured better to ask before trying anything.

Find some polypropylene tubing of the appropriate inner diameter. This is the same plastic that plastic medical syringes are made of. In fact, if you can't find the tubing at the hardware, try to find a medical supply store that sells syringes, find one of the correct dimension, and cut it with a pipe cutter from a hardware store.

This is good info but the reason I am looking at copper is for a steam punk mod and wanted to know if it was safe or not. I will defiantly look for what you mentioned though for sure.

Well, that sort of explains why you were even looking at copper. I'd try to stay with some type of material known to be food grade safe. Stainless steel comes to mind, but I'd still go with the polypropylene.
