I trust you Jim. You've helped me a lot on the topic. Personally, I think interchanging the two are going to enhance my vape. We'll see, but I have a feeling I'll be happy either way. If it doesn't make it better, it will at least be convenient.I'm extremely happy with my model after spending so much time playing with it, everyday it becomes more of a vapor monster. Like I said. I'm getting new parts today and I will be using liquids for the first time as well, so there's just no tellin what the potential of my 4081 really is. I will def. let you know how it's going!

the 4081 does not have air holes on the end of it. the only air holes are on the side where the atty attaches to the battery. the only circumstance where I have had "hard draws" on my were directly related to the cartridge.

Some of my cartridges were extremely hard to draw on. I popped the foam plug on the inside out of one of them, and found 2 small disks of foam that the manufacturer had placed between the foam plug (the plastic piece that you drip into when refilling) and the end of the cart. I removed those, and it's now an easy draw again. I have found these disks in about 10 of my 50 carts.

Check your carts if you have a hard draw on a 4081.

yes, it's a removable cap, but I find the inside of the cart to get "messy" with liquid, and for me, it helps to keep it inside the cart, and off my shirt pocket :)

What I found odd was all my carts came from the same manufacturer (i guess, single order of 50 of them), but only about 20% had the extra foam disks in them. Maybe it was something they were experimenting with. Or maybe it was just someone at the factory having a bad day, wanting to mess with people *shrug*

I just started with the e-cigarette yesterday. Got caught up in a Smoking Everywhere kiosk in our mall. Ended up actually getting a pretty good deal on 3 starter kits and they threw in extra carts some juice, etc, so all in all, I came out ok.

The video posted earleir in this thread made ALL the difference in the world for me in the amount of vapor I was getting. Just putting a small peice of tape over one of the hole, and I get GREAT vapor now from my Smoking Everywhere e-cig. Just wanted to say thanks for that video and thank you all for the great info in these forums.

I have found that with using both of my fingers and modifying with fierce blockage, followed by a more gentle pressure, I can produce great vapor and inhalation from the Smoking Everywhere cigarette. Just blocking one of the holes doesn't do much for me. The draw begins hard with both air holes blocked, the battery LED is lit, and then after drawing hard, I give a little with both fingers and the inhalation is awesome.

I have to admit though...it kind of reminds me of how I used to smoke off of a different substance some years ago - you know, in my younger years.

Which begs the question, is there an e-joint in the works?

I have been using a 4081 for a week now. Haven't had an old-school cig since my 4081 arrived. But lemme tell you, it hasn't been easy...I started out using the pre-filled carts. I was having to draw way too hard to get a good amount of vapor. Then, it seemed like just as the vapor would really start to flow, something would happen, the led would start flashing and it would stop. After I got sick of getting e-juice in my mouth from the pre-filled carts, I decided that I would give direct dripping on the atomizer a try. It was definitely a step up. Still not what I needed to get the same satisfaction as a regular cig, but closer. Next I took a look at the cartridge. I took off the end cap, and tried that for awhile. A little bit better. I don't know about on your cartridges, but on mine, after I took the end cap off, there is still a sealed end on the cartridge with another small hole, much like the one in the end cap. So I took an exacto knife, and cut the mouth end of the cartridge off, just enough to totally open it up. It's pretty much just a plastic sleeve now that I put on the atty. Wow! What a difference. It's super easy to take a drag now. I just put two drops of juice on the wick for the atomizer and you should see the vapor I get out of this thing! My friend couldn't believe it. He couldn't believe it could make that much "smoke". Finally, I'm getting the performance that I wanted. Hope this helps!
