I do have a question reguarding battery heat. Should I set it down and let it cool off when it gets pretty hot?
Its normal for the bottom of your tank to get warm. If your battery is getting warm yes you should probably give a little time to cool off. A really good variable battery for kangertech tanks is the vision spinner 2. It lasts a long time and gives good constant voltage. At least get yourself a second battery to use.

I chain vape. But then again I walk around with 3 flavors for variety so it gives me cool down time but usually get better flavor when it heats up
So the heat is not an issue then? I do have two with different flavors in each. But just switching from cigs, only the menthol is "doing" it for me. I heard that will change as I get used to vaping.

Go to myvaporstore. Get the mini aero 2.0 bases. Maybe he's saying they work on evod2. I got one for minitank 2 and one for protank 2. They work awesome and instead of $50 for 2 aerotanks, got away with 28. You'll pay 18 shipped and fall in love with any juice, except for MBV grappler

Grappler is the worst juice ever

I like the heat. Try different flavors, waste some money on juices, mix em, anything you do is better then smoking. I've quit for over a mth and don't even want a cig even when I'm around smokers. Wasted money on juice and hardware and still $60 ahead had i been buying a pack a day. Also try halo longhorn if you were a light smoker and halo torque56 if you were a heavy smoker. Longhorn did it for me and now I'm all hooked on different flavors.
Just don't ever vape grappler

I'm a vape newb. Just got my Kanger Evod 2 starter pack. Cig free for a day now! Since charging the battery for the first time, one of my thingys is much harder to draw from. What did I do and how do I fix it? Did juice get in somewhere it is not supposed to be? I changed the coil and that did not help. The one I took out was discolored (the wick?) but I put it back in the pack since I don't think anything's wrong it. Any help/insight/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I know one thing you can do is make sure that your tank is not to tightly screwed onto your battery. At the bottom of the tank you will see little holes where the air flows in. Make sure its not screwed down to a point where the air can't flow in.

Alternatively you can fix that issue forever by looking into something like this -

Ok, last one! Lol. Only prob I have now is keeping up with it! Did I set it beside me? in my lap? did it roll off the table? I haven't seen any "holders" or anything like that. What do you do?

My daughter just bought a toothbrush holder at Target, the thinner eGo style batteries fit just fine. It holds up to 4.
