why are some cartos harsh. and why would they be smooth with onw type of battery and harsh with another??
I don't know LeCig, but it looks like they're a variation on KR808d1's. So I'm not certain, but I'd guess your normal bats will run about 3.7v (I think you have the kind that will be 4.2 straight off the charger, and then go down to 3.7 with use). Probably someone here can verify the numbers?
I think KR808's are regulated to 3.7V. At least I don't notice much of a change with mine. Not sure though.
My KR808d1 battery isn't regulated but I could be out of date. Pretty sure my the KR808d1 passthrough is 6 volts. If that is what the OP is using it would explain the difference.
The lower the resistance (Ohms) of the carto, the faster/hotter the coil of that carto will run on any battery.
so, would a higher resistent carto run hot?? very hot??
ok, that was dumb. clearly that's what subsplat said. it just seems to me that if I have to draw harder on a carto to get anything out of it (higher resistance??) than it would get hotter.1100mah batteries
