Hey Guys, new to the forum here and hoping one of you can help me out.
I have a problem that sometimes my eliquids (>10ml) are harsh, after i added a nic shot. Where could this be coming from ?

shop owner, a friend and me had the same juice, we all add nic. Mine was harsh, from my friend also, and the one from the shop owner was perfect. And i am the only one who tasted it.

Ive tried different wicks, ohm, wires etc...
I hope someone here can help me out since alot of people have no clue What it could be. Thanks

What is your VG/PG percentage and is it different for the store's. Also, sometimes nic behaves differently at different ages, so it may have gotten harsh if you got an older batch. It's even possible it might be a different nicotine maker, depending on how that store does business. They may also add in something else (for all I know) to smooth out the nicotine.

With that said, 3 mg really shouldn't be harsh. I am left wondering about your other ingredients, more than anything. I guess you could try adding nic salts if you are genuinely sensitive to nic or something, it's much less harsh, usually. But this all seems rather mysterious to me, I don't know exactly where your problem is, but it's obviously something... Tried different flavorings to make sure it's not that? You steep, so I'm assuming that isn't the issue. IDK.

They may have been steeped far longer (or using a different method) than yours. Heat speeds steeping, but also can denature at least some nicotine, possibly leading to a different outcome?

Maybe you can ask your vendor how they steep their liquids and see if replicating it helps? That's sort of the best I can come up with.... Perhaps they use a mechanical stirrer/agitator to more thoroughly blend the nic?

If you can't figure it out, you could look into seeing if they sell nic salt nic shots, and see if you like that better. Just keep an eye out for nic overload if you do, they are reportedly a bit more bioavailable....

But if all else is equal, I'd ask about how their premade nic is steeped.

70/80-30/20 and Its the same nic, So could be a bad batch, but happens quite alot and im the only one tasting it..ive been thinking about nic sensitive, but doesnt explain why it is sometimes not harsh at all. The only thing ive noticed that premixed 10ml bottles are never harsh.
Welcome and glad you joined.
There many reasons why you can detect harshness.
