So I've been vaping on tortoise blood 6mg for a while now once every two weeks and I love it so much that I decided to grab a 100ml bottle. I bought a new kanger subtank and also dripped it in my arty and man the hits have been so harsh! It's ruining the flavor for me. Do I need to let this steep or is it maybe they might of put too much nic mix? I put 15 ml in a 30ml bottle and thinking of mixing it with 0mg nic and see if that changes or let it steep for a couple days. I don't know but it's 6mg like I've always ran. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In advance.

What kind of battery are you running the subtank on? If you've got it cranked too high in volts or watts that could contribute to the harshness. But I had have it happen where you fall in love with a juice, buy another big bottle and it tastes like farts. Steeping can help mellow a juice out. But there's no saying if it will take a week or a month or more for that to happen.
Don't worry though, someone with more experience with the subtank and dripping should be around here somewhere...

Good luck!

If you dilute it down with some just vg that you can get at Walmart, it may help the harshness. Here is a calculator that will tell you what nic you will have when you do. I find it helpful.

DIY E-Liquid Combining Calculator

Also helpful for mixing premade flavors together if they have different nic percentages. Hope it helps. Good luck to you.

And you could always put the lid on tight, throw it in a zip lock bag and run it with a load of clothes in your dryer. Just my :2c:

If it's a burnt type of harshness, then the power is too high on the two new devices. tow ways to correct that:
  1. Lower the voltage/wattage of your devoce if it's a Variable Voltage or Variable Wattage device
  2. Use a coil with a higher resistance

If it's not a burnt taste, then the above might also work as different power settings affect the flavor. If the power is high but you're not getting a dry hit, it can make some juices (especially lighter-flavored juices such as fruits) harsh.

Also higher-powered device combinations usually need less nic. You can dilute the nic without sacrificing flavor by mixing your juice with a lower-nic juice of the same or similar flavor.

For instance, mixing an 18mg Apple with a 0mg apple at 50/50 ratio gives you a 9mg juice mixing it at a 1/3 ratio gives you a 6mg juice.

Hope this helps, and Happy Vaping!

I'm running it on two devices. Sigelei 100w plus with Samsung 25r batteries and a kanger subtank with a replacement coil at .5 subohm and I've been running it between 25-45 watts. Same thing across the board. I'm also using almost the same thing but the other setup is a sigelei 150w with the aspire Atlantis with .5 subohm coil and 2 Sony vtc4 batteries. Same thing. It's weird because I ran the juice in my Atlantis before and it was perfect. I emailed the direct maker cause he's the one that made my order and waiting for a response from him. Thanks guys for the suggestions
