Hey
I have been using scotts vids on oxydising the mesh and funkyvapes *perfect coil method* i'll sum up:
I have the cobra, and i cut out 400 mesh 20mm x 40mm and then roll it really thin, i cut the end off at an angle then i thread it on a needle. heat it with propane torch until glowing red and dunking in water. I repeat 3 times. Then i soak it in eliquid and light it up 3 times. After oxy i take my kanthal, burn it so it glows 3 times and create the coils on a drill bit. Then i mount the drillbit/coil on to the cobra. Pull out the drill bit and slide the mesh wick through the coil almost down to the bottom of the tank. I check that my cooils are evenly spread out and that there is no hot spots or wires not firing up. Fill the tank, not too quick not too slow. I can see the wick is wicking nicely. I vape it at a 90 degree angle, and get lots of vapor, but it taste really bad. Worse than a burned out silica wick the metallic taste is so strong that it burns my tounge just the taste of the vapor. And this is on 6 watts.
Any ideas?
