Probably simple dehydration combined with the factor that your throat is still healing from the tobacco pounding, and will be sensitive for a while. Drink lots and keep to careful draws for a couple of weeks and it'll probably go away, it did for me.

It could be that you only have a fixed voltage battery and a 1.8 ohm coil. When I started, and had the sore throat, it helped me to put in a 2.5 coil for the first couple of weeks.

If it gets worse, or continues past a few weeks you may not be a fan of PG. I read that some peeps bodies don't like it. There are VG heavy options for you if this is the case, but I think the peeps that can't handle PG are very much the minority, so don't jump to any conclusions too quickly.

Not so much that they aren't a fan of PG, More like they're allergic to it. And theres more of them out there than you would think IMO. Thats why being a courteous vapor makes all the difference, Anyway getting back on topic. Could be a number of things. Dehydration is one so just make sure to drink lots of water and piss like a race horse Lol. You could be allergic to PG as well so try using some VG based juice and see how your throat feels after that.

I forgot to mention the liquid. I've bought liquid that was scratchy as hell for a week, and have found that 'ageing' it, some call this steeping but I thought that's what you did with tea-bags in hot water, makes these liquids a lot smoother. If you have a bricks and mortar nearby that allow sampling, it may be worth a trip out to see if their liquids do the same thing to you; they may even have VG heavy liquids for you to try.

I'd still bet on the dehydration and a sensitive healing throat though; like I said above: I had exactly the same thing for the first two weeks, and then one day it was all good.

I had an Aspire Maxi (same concept/basically a sister product) that produced a burning taste with every hit. It was absolutely un-vape-able and it really burned more than past "dry hits" that I have had.

It was the coil, I replaced the coil.....emptied the juice and re-filled with the same juice and it was completely fine.

What colour is the juice you are using? Sometimes the darker coloured juices tend to turn slightly black inside the tank. When that happens, between cleaning cycles, I just dump out the remaining liquid and insert fresh stuff. I'm not sure why it happens, probably due to light / cold temperature outside.

EDIT: When the juice turns darker, it tends to irritate my throat.
