So why go above 4V then? That's the whole point of var volt, to find the best spot with the best flavor. If your not getting good results above 4v with your stardust then don't go above 4V.

Maybe I'm overlooking something here, is there a reason you want to run at higher voltage? You'll need to go to a higher resistance if you want to run higher volts.

Ok, there is no particular reason, when you get a new toy obviously i'm going to try 'twisting the voltage'. I've found 3.6v works fine. I have two clearomisers, 2.4 and 1.8 resistance.

So the lower the resistance the lower the voltage is better for it?

Guess I worded that poorly... sorry.

Lower resistance - lower voltage
Higher resistance - higher voltage

Just keep playing, you'll find your sweetspot for each. Have fun!

VG is thick. Thick doesn't wick well at high voltage, it's, uhmmm, too thick. Just because you can do a thing doesn't mean you should do that thing.

I was gonna say this same thing. VG is THICK and won't wick very well.

Saw one post where someone with 100% VG couldn't even get that juice to fill a boge carto. It was just too thick.

I use 10% VG and, with a twist and a vision 2.0 clearo at 2.5 ohms, once I got up to 4.6 volts, started tasting a bit of burn. That would equate to about 3.9 volts and a 1.8 ohm head.

should i 'water' down the vg with pg? its 26mg pure vg, it fills just fine, smoke just fine, just not above 3.6v. I'm scared to use the low resistance clearo above 3.4v as i don't want it to break.

Then why did i spend extra for a variable voltage battery lol. The standard ego battery is like 3.6v as i know.

Because not all juices taste best at 3.6. Some taste best at 3.2. Some taste best at 4.7. My PV goes up to 6.0, but I've never vaped anything even remotely close to that, because nothing tastes good way up there.

If that is the one and only juice you ever intend to vape, the I have no idea why you bought a vv.

Not all 100% VG are created equally. I vape a lot of 100% VG. Some I can barely get 3.2, others I can get 4.2. That's why you got a VV, so you can find the sweet spot.

k thanks for your replies, i understand now. With the low resistence filled with 'apple juice' (not sure ratio of vg/pg its great at 3.3v, getting plumes of apple tasting vape. Ridiculous amount of vape.
