Hey all,
I've been vaping for a while and I recently just tried out a LR 510 atty for the first time. I am a dripper and that is pretty much the only way I vape. I removed the bridge and extra poly-fill from the atty right after I opened it and have kept the atty wet as much as I could. The problem I seem to be noticing is that the LR atty gets so hot during a long pull that I think it caused the coil to fuse together and become basicaly a single cylinder attached to a small wire at each end. It sounds weird, but it still works. Only thing is that now the coil is building up some sort of gritty black ash and It is making my liquid taste burnt. I have tried cleaning the crap out of it, but it builds right back up in a very short time.
Is this normal for a LR atty? I have been using it for about two weeks total.
Is this the tell-tale sign that I should replace it?
Has this happened to any of you guys?
