Bah if by snoring you mean farting then NO it has gotten way louder.
I have been waking myself due to the noise.

lol that hilarious, i think ive gotten gassier too

But back to the main point.

If this gets rid of snoring, then i will be ecstatic, Ive always been one of those people that gets beat or kicked in the middle of the night if i stay at a someone esles house.

Ill have to ask next time someone is around when i am sleeping

im right their with ya, im going to an ecig to lose the tar/chemical intake, and possibly even quit, but i have severe sleep apnea, and im hoping switching to a ecig helps a little, and then in december for christmas, i have surgery to remove my adenoids, uvula, part of my pallatte, and any excess tissue from my throat, which should cure most of the apnea but its going to be 2 weeks of hell

Man, I hope you guys are kidding about the gas thing. Excess gas is all funny and stuff... until you get diverticuloses... and then all that funny ha ha gas feels more like a hot knife stuck in your side than it does a joke...

Seriously!

Diverticulitis isn't caused by farting. My husband had to have surgery for this 2 years ago. I knew he was sick, but he refused to go to the doctor, even though he had BAD stomach pains. The only reason he ended up going was because the pain shot down into his testicles.

Turned out, his colon had actually ruptured, and he was slowly poisoning himself. The doctor said if he had waited another 2-3 days, he would have died from his bowel leaking into his abdomen.

It's caused because some people just happen to have pockets on the outside of their colon, called diverticuli. Some folks have it, some don't. They don't know what CAUSES the pockets, but in his case, what caused one to rupture was the foods he was eating. Sooo, they had to take about 12 inches of his colon out, and he's got a nice long scar from his navel to his groin. And now he's on a kinda strict diet. No nuts or seeds, no corn, or popcorn, no sausage, etc. etc.

You should see us in a restaurant...I'm sure the waitperson thinks I'm a total hag, because I'm always telling him he can't have this, can't have that, etc.

It's hard to say if I've quit snoring. Ever once in a while, in a lite sleep, I'd 'remember' hearing myself. Sometimes I'd be waking up while snoring and remember it.

For the last two and a half months...nothing.

Here, add this to the list of reasons to vape. Smoking causes face wrinkles,...vaping should allow the wrinkles to smooth back out.

Umm, yah, I know diverticulitis isn't caused by gas... I never said that. The pain comes from the gas distending the sections of the colon with the diverticuli in it...

As for the dietary restrictions... rubbish! That whole "no seed" thing is a total fallacy. My GI doctor, who's been dealing professionally with diverticulitis since 1963, gave me several, photocopied handouts to show me that there is NO research supporting the "no seed" prohibition... he told me he made the photocopies because he got tired of his patients shaving their strawberries...

Now as to dietary restrictions for someone like your husband who's had a surgery, that may be a different matter... I'm not a doctor, but I've had the condition for 16 years now, and ALL the doctors I've talked to say the same thing... the only sure-fire way to know if something is going to inflame your colon is to eat it! And keep a food diary to note if it had an effect on you or not...

So maybe you could cut your hubby some slack at the restaurant, m'kay?

Wow! I'll have to ask the wife cuz I am a big time snorer. Snoring is caused by not getting enough air through your nose, so I'm wondering, when you vape, do you frequently exhale the vapor out of your nose?

I've been snoring loudly for years. I used to wake DH up nightly. My Mother was afraid I had sleep apnea after hearing me roar.

A few weeks after I starting vaping, the snoring went away.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Sorry, I misunderstood your first post, and didn't realize till I re-read it.

As for cutting my husband some slack, I don't think there's a need for an eye roll. If he wants slack, he should stop ASKING ME what he can eat and what he can't. ;-)
