Gainesville Fl,
I'm really only interested in vaping on a passthrough if I can get 5v "with the right wall usb charger" if I can use dualcoil cartomizers.

Do direct "no battery" usb passthroughs usually work with dualcoil cartomizers? If not, why not?

I wanted to get this
5 VOLT USB PASS THROUGH (REQUIRES SUFFICIENT POWER SOURCE)

but I'm hesitant because one of the reviews on their site says it won't work with dualcoils. Any thoughts?

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Well I put a DCC on the PT that you linked to just for you.:p

Yes it will fire. No it will not get enough amps to fire properly.
A 3.7v bat that needs a trip to the charger would give a better hit.
A 3ohm single coil is a great vape on that PT, a DCC is not.
I don't know of any USB ports that can support a DCC. It's not the device you put the DCC on that's the problem, it's the USB port it's self. USB protocol is regulated to a max of 2amps.

I use the 1.5 ohm dual coils with a 5v passthrough and it works fine, warm without burning. I make sure to use thinner good wicking liquid, Halo in my case, to make sure those coils stay wet, and I top off regularly. I'm normally at 3.7v all day, but the passthrough with menthol and a shorter hit is very good.
