Has anyone here got a bad batch of Boba's before?

I bought 100ml because I was so impressed with the 6ml sample I got. It's the biggest e-liquid order I've made so far. I filled a vivi nova clearo and also filled cartomizer full of Boba's today and I just can't taste it with either of them for some reason. It just tastes like air to me. Normally when I exhaled it through my nose I got that great Boba's flavor most are probably familiar with. But with this 100ml bottle it's just air. I've been vaping Oompa from HHV the last couple of days and can still taste the chocolate etc after vaping Boba's today. So I am confused. I am a bit depressed that I bought 100ml and can't seem to taste it at all.

What do I do if it turns out I got a bad batch? I did shake the bottle before filling the clearo and cartomizer. I'll keep it on the shelf for a while and come back it in case my taste buds are being strange but it's weird to me the 6ml sample bottle I got seemed to have more flavor than the big 100ml bottle I bought by far. I think Ben from AV is a good seller so I don't want to pester him if it's my fault but I am just not getting any flavor satisfaction. Maybe it's my tastebuds? I don't know. I guess I'll wait a couple of days and try again.

I got the same when I ordered my 100ml bottle of Boba's. It will take some time to steep. You can speed the steep time by putting some in a smaller bottle and leave the cap off for a couple of days. Then leave it for about a week, shaking it at least once a day and removing the cap once a day to let it breathe. The taste will develop more with more time.

I would think that the 6 ml was already steeped, whereas the 100ml needs steeping. Pour a few ml into your empty 3 or 6 ml bottle. Heat some water in microwave - don't boil it though because you're about to dunk your 3 or 6 ml bottle in it. Leave it in the water till it cools down. Give it another go in your vivi. Another possibility is that if you just leave the liquid in vivi nova for a day or so now you've applied heat from your vaping it so far will speed the steeping process too. Finally put some of that 100 ml into more 10 ml bottles, leave caps off for a day, and shake daily (after returning caps for just that purpose of course). Then leave it a week or so to mature. Don't fret just yet - it is very likely a very new mix vs the 6ml already matured.

Boba's needs steeping. A 100ml jug of Boba's needs a LOT of steeping. Your best bet is the above suggestion, move some to a smaller bottle.

Course you can! Do you have any small bottles that you can put a little in, so you don't have to wait for what will feel like forever? You can buy some bottles from ECigExpress - quick processing and shipping, ...it might help in the long run. And like I mentioned if you get a longing for some Boba's meanwhile, then try pouring a little in a bowl, then drop that bowl into a slightly bigger bowl of hot water. That can help move it along a bit.

Is there a chance that you bought a 100 ml bottle from a 3rd-party vendor (somebody that bought a bulk quantitiy from alienvisions) and it is just old?

Call me crazy but I like Boba's fresh out of the 100ml bottle. The taste does change the longer it steeps.

Question for OP : did you use fresh carto and fresh head on the Vivi? If there are old flavors there, they could be muting the Boba's.

Also, if you were hitting another flavor hard for several days, you tastebuds may need to readjust. Plus, Boba's is 100%vg, so flavor won't be as powerful as mostly PG juices.

As far as your original question goes, I bought 30ml of Boba's and all I get is honey which sucks cause I'm not a honey fan. The Gorilla Juice I thought would be banana was more like sniffing banana nutbread but not eating it. Very weak in flavor. I won't be an AVE fan, myself, but there are lots who adore them.

I ordered 100 mls of Boba's in the middle of November. I quickly loaded some up and it had very little flavor. After about a month or so of steeping the flavors really came out. I get honey, dark tobacco, and raisin cake flavors out of it now.

I used a fresh head. There is hardly any taste. I liked the small sample I got a lot but for it being so bland now I don't think it's worth it to buy at all. I don't know if steeping is really going to help all that much because I literally can't taste anything to it at all. I've been tasting some other 100% vg juices I have and the flavors are coming out loud and clear with those. So I'm not sure what's wrong if I just got a really weak batch or something.

Did you rinse the nova head under hot water and then dry burn it? I had bobas gunk the silica wick and coil almost immediately and the flavor get muted,

Samplers are often premixed, so they get a chance to steep well before they are sent to you. You might be (pleasantly) surprised how some juices can really change from subtle to in your face with proper steeping methods and duration. I don't know for sure that it will for BB, haven't tried it, but the HHV flavors I got last month in 2 sampler packs were MUCH different, much more flavorful than the big bottles I just got last week. Already , one week later and they are developing nicely. Don't give up on the Boba's, just be patient and reeavaluate every few days, once a week, or in a few weeks, whatever your preference is. Don't forget to take lids and drip caps off for one or two days, if you haven't already. Don't spill them! Happy vaping.

I bought Boba's bounty and gorilla juice about a month ago. Still can't vape either one. Since a lot of people like Boba's I won't make any negative comments. Maybe I got a bad batch. Or maybe it's just not my kind of taste? Ya know...some people like tobacco flavors and others like fruit flavors.

I got some big bottles from ec-blend today and I can taste them really well. I'm not sure what's going on with the bobas I ordered. I sent a help desk ticket. I really loved the 6ml sampler I got of the stuff over a week ago but if the big 100ml bottle I bought is going to be flavorless then is it really even worth it? I intentionally ordered really generic tastes from ec-blend like cucumber, early grey, and green tea and if those are much stronger than Boba's (everyone says ec-blend doesn't have much flavor) so you know something is wrong.
