I'm working on one right now with FW butterscoth and TFA caramel candy. Really nice together but not Werther's quality yet. I'm not sure what to do to get a creamy smoothness. I'm considering going with a touch of EM and TFA whipped cream. I though about TFA Bav cream but I don't think that is the right kind of creaminess I'm looking for.

Maybe add some deluche de leche.

I think that might be a great idea. I played with the %'s and just dripped some @ 12% FW Butterscotch and 8% TFA caramel candy. Man, it tastes really good. Not quite a Werthers but getting close. Just a touch more of sweet creaminess and I think it will be at the very least a generic werthers candy shelf clone. lol

A week on the shelf may tune it up right too. It's totally vapable as is so I'm pretty happy so far.

Since it's a Caramel Candy I would of thought to put more Caramel than Butterscotch at least that's what I'm trying.

Agreed but FW requires more flavor than TFA. I assume they're more diluted. I was just taking a guess. It's not too butterscotchy as is. I'm only making 5mls at a time so it's probably a good idea to try the %'s the other way.

The FW Caramel Candy and the TFA Caramel Candy are about the same percentage wise.

I've never mixed tfa caramel candy alone but it takes 15-17% FW butterscotch to get the flavor strong enough. I never looked up recommended tfa cc %. What strength works standalone?

My Chart (ECF) says TFA Caramel Candy 15-20%, I mixed some TFA Caramel Candy at 10% and it was weak.

Ah, that is good to know. This is going to be a fun recipe for me. I don't like fruits except for cherry mixed with tobacco and apple pie mixed with anything good. But I do like vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, etc quite a bit. I have some tfa butterscotch that haven't used yet. I think I'll spend some time and really drill down a good werthers. They are one of the few hard candies that I actually like. If I get it down pat then I'm going to have an AYV (all year vape) in stock.

I think I'm going to try Danny's advice too. Dulce may in fact be the missing ingredient.

I would suggest getting the FW Butterscotch it's supposed to be the best.
