Has anyone noticed a change in Boba's Bounty recently?

I've been ordering Boba's in small bottles since last spring, and it always tasted delicious.. About a month ago, I ordered a 30ML bottle (my largest yet) and I swear it has an odd, chemical taste... I let it steep over a month, and the taste has remained the same. Some of the old taste is there, but there's something different that is ruining it, almost making me sick. Has anyone noticed bad batches recently? I've tried it out in my smoktech carto tanks, my protank, and my old kanger kr808 heads, and it's the same for each. I hate to have to go back to ordering smaller bottles again for fear of getting another bad batch...

I suppose that's entirely possible. I thought I had a quality control issue with VapeRite a while back, and I managed to cut open a bottle I'd gotten when I thought it was tasting good, and it did in fact taste pretty much like the new stuff I'd gotten. Not really sure what to think, I'll definitely place another order because I REALLY like Boba's; hopefully my taste buds haven't changed too much.

Okay, so I recently came back to my GJ..

It's tasting the same / fine to me, but then again, I only started vaping it maybe 3 months ago, so maybe I'm not the best judge

Part of it for me might have been vaping it so much.. Also, perhaps some tastebud changes, as well trying other brands during that time

Maybe the same has happened to you? *shrug*

I usually buy bobas in my brick and mortar (vaperite) because I'm willing to pay more for it being pre-steeped... This batch was fresh, thus my first taste of unsteeped bobas. I can definitely see why people that vape it straight out of the mail don't get the hype. This is just one of those juices that NEEDS steeping.

You said you'd let it steep for a month, though. Hmmm. I don't know what to say, except to ask if you have tried to steep it with the lid/cap off? That tends to help "air out" any odd taste I get from my regular juices.

I ordered it around July
unfortunately the overhype took away from the experience for me
and I used mainly clearo's and trying out 510 atty at the time

and it was good but because of the hype I was expecting the end all be all one and only all day vape
the hype was much worse back then probably because of there website problems at the time

I really wanted to order some soon and try it now without all that extra expectation
and using RDA's

the only thing holding me back is this is the 4th time I've seen a thread about possible inconsistency in flavor
and stepping is not the issue

I steep some of my juices 2 months but boba's had an off strange taste only a few days
and became what it is and change some but little over time

So has it changed?

Is it no longer the boba's old?

Whelp! I feel as though I have to report back. Let this baby steep cap off for TWO MONTHS and came back to it last night, and it now tastes like it used to. Not sure if it's the steeping, the fact that I waited for so long, or the fact that I cheated and smoked an analogue the other day (maybe it dulled my taste so it tastes the way it had when I'd just stopped smoking?)

Anyway, I'm hopeful that it won't go back to tasting the way it has.
