Has Anyone Tried Ekowool W/Silica Core On Their Magoo?

Does it work. Is the 28Gauge Kanthal any good on this build or should I use a different coil? I already have the single and dual coil heads, but haven't rebuilt the dually on my own yet. I have a pre-packed wick and coil, but I don't like the fact that the ohms are so high. I've been experimenting with sub-ohm coils on my iHybrid Pure Patriot LE, and I love the hit. Even at the $160 I paid "JUST FOR THE LIMITED EDITION ACCOLADES" I still think it was worth it, even if I could have bought the regular Pure, or even the 18650 version. I love the American Flag, it is just a cool hybrid mod, and is so small I can literally have it in any pocket. It's not much bigger than a bic lighter(slightly bigger) .

Just bumping this, because I can't find any info on this, which I guess means it's a negative. Either that or i'm the first to try.

I haven't tried Ekowool yet, but I don't see why it wont work, you just need to make sure the size you use wont interfere with the threads.
I rebuild the magoo using 2mm silica wick and ready wire NR-R-NR I've used 1.5 and 1.8 ohms in dual coil setups resulting in .8 or .9 ohm setup, I use a mechanical mod or a Sigelei 20W and works perfect, its still my favorite RBA.
I am not the expert here, but If you use .28 wire you need to be very careful that the resulting coil will fit the small space available inside the ceramic housing of the Magoo, but you can try it.....that's part of the hobby
