I ordered the 5-pack of Lucids with the x-atomizer. The x-atomizer allows you to use the tank without the wicking material in the end. From what I can tell, the X is similar to the an eGo T atty in that there is a pin that slides up into the cart to deliver the juice. I'll see how it all works out. Might even take a crack at a vid review.

I just got a 5 pack yesterday. Not quite the reservoir of the egoT tank system, but better flavor, can use with your existing regular 510 atty and definitely a step up from regular cartridges.

I ordered 2 of the LR Tank atomizers and 5 tank cartridges from Totally Wicked a week ago. One atty has died and I get no flavor or satisfaction from the remaining one. The tank system is a fail, IMO.

I bought a pack of 5 and some new 510 attys.
The plastic bridge inside the vers 2 cart is junk and falls down inside the cart. The factory filler is less pliable than typical poly and becomes compressed around the atty bridge. The plastic mouthpiece is prone to cracking at the atty end. Removing the cart pulled the atty innerds out to the end of the wires on one of my attys.

After getting an eGo-T with a 1000mah battery I'll never go back to any kind of cart system.

I have to agree with that. I thought I really liked it at first, but I think that was just the novelty effect... now it just sits there. I don't even think about using it. I need either a Boge LR at 3.7v or a 510 atty at 5v to satisfy me.

Does anybody know how well the smart carts or lucids work with an LR atty or at 5v? Do they burn? How long do you have to wait between drags?

can someone tell me the why is "ohms" are important in attys.

An "Ohm" is a unit of measurement for electronic resistance. Less ohms means lower resistance allowing the atomizer to burn hotter, thereby creating more vapor. Low resistance atomizers are used on 3.7v devices such as the 'eGo' to simulate higher voltage vaping.

I use the Smart Carts 2.0 between 4.2 and 5v on a reg atty. You shouldn't have any burning issues when them, they wick well. I'm still using the stock filler and it keeps on tickin. Just don't run it dry and line the cartridge opening up with the atty bridge and you'll be fine.

No need to wait in between drags as far as wicking. You'd probably want to take a break here and there to keep the atty from overheating.

Just got my lucid carts and the x atomizer.......boy what a complete fail. The smart carts are better.....the hole inside these carts is really small doesnt wick that well, and the atty is still tasting burnt after a few hours of trying to get it to be normal. Really there is no way of this wicking this atty unless you drip, from my perspective. I may clean it to see if that makes a difference, if it doesnt its either on on classifieds or in the trash since gotvapes will not let me return what i havn't used for something else or a refund. They Do not work as advertised. Complete was of time and money so far. They just lost one customer.

Got the smartcarts in the mail and love them. I won't go back to using regular cartridges.

I will say the plastic bridge inside is flimsy .. I lost one using my first cart. But now that I know it's there (!) I'll be more careful. I had an extremely difficult time removing the cart from the atty, however. Got a bit scared I was going to mess up the atty. But eventually it came off and I didn't have that problem again.

All in all I still prefer them over standard carts. I get a lot more juice, vapor, and a snug fit. No more messiness having to top off a cartridge. No flooding. I really like them.

The only ongoing "issue" I have with them is that they seem rather "dry?"

I also got a dripomizer cartomizer 2.0 ohm, but I have yet to fill it or try it.

I got my SmartCarts and Lucids today... I'm not gonna waste my time with a vid, as there's nothing to show. The smartcarts are good... replacing the polyfill with Fluval foam and reducing it's depth by half. Otherwise, the poly melts against the typical bridge in a 510 atty. Once i got the amount of foam right... they're wicking well and beat the hassle of filling clearos and cartos.

The Lucids...

The tanks are pretty solid it seems, provided you use them with foam and a regular bridged atty. The x-atomizer doesn't work as it should. Loading juice through the bottom with a syringe, it vaped well enough, but once the juice dried up, it was back to dry, burnt atty hits. Apparently, the wick doesn't work and I too feel that my money would have been better spent on cartos or more smart carts. I guess that, since I don't have an option to get my money back or get store credit, I'll try to rip out the wick and make it a dripping atty. I'll keep this experience in mind when considering future purchases of "cool" new gear.

Clinton, I got the smartcarts from COV they said you can not use them with LR atty - won't wick fast enough. I tried mine taking half the filler out but still got burnt taste. Thinking it's either a) I use 60/40 juice or b) it's a lr atty. I have 2 reg and 1 lr forgot to mark it and can't tell if it's the one I'm using. Of course 1 is missing and 1 has no bridge so for now I can't troubleshoot that. I am thinking of getting the blue foam and trying that..otherwise I'm sticking w/my ego-t! I was only looking for more flavor.
Glad I didn't get the Lucids or the x atomizer ..

I really LOVED these when I first got them. Maybe I was in love with the idea of it.

The good: Compared to regular carts they outdo them by far. Carry more juice ... I love the idea of being able to see the amount of juice you have left. Don't need to top off nearly half as much.

The bad: The flimsy plastic bridge breaks just trying to clean them. The vapor is great, but the taste is dry. I also have a hard time getting flavor from them. So I drag and drag and then get a mouthful of atty.

Very sad that they turned out like this. I was so excited when I first got them.

I'm sorta in the same boat, Trips. The first session was good, and I thought I could pre-load a bunch of carts for the S.O. to help get her off analogs. Then we started getting dry hits. I cleaned, screwed around with filler a few times and the hassle is not worth it. I decided to go towards tank mods (not the eGo T) and bottom feeds. I'm done with carts and cart mods for now.

i hate the smart carts. nuff said. same reasons as stated above. However, i LOVE my lucids, with a slight modification. the bridge inside has a hole that is way too small. if you use a toothpick and enlarge the hole substantially and replace the filler with PTB they work awesome. I have a post in the cartridge mods section that explains this better.

I like the smart carts for taste but as mentioned the black plastic cover breaks at about the 4th time you pull or fill the tank. My Lucid Atty was the worst purchase I have ever made a complete failure . I am also having problems with the lucid tanks, I did enlarge the hole but after 2 hits its the dry burnt taste it just is not wicking . Would love to get the carts working so its not a total waste.
