A couple days ago, I ordered the Aspire nautilus mini for around 22$ on ebay... I thought I was just getting an awesome deal. I went to my local vape shop today, and they said that for that price it's gotta be a clone. Now I'm ......! I don't want a clone! I should have just spent the extra cash and got a real one from my vape shop. So, I'm wondering... has anyone tried this clone? What can I expect? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I think it's going for $39 at my vape shop... wish I would have just bought it from them. It's a learning experience, cause I'm pretty sure it's a clone.

You're sure it's a clone simply because the price was cheaper? :?:
Most vape shops actually raise the price- far over what it's worth & it's very possible they told you it's a clone because you didn't buy it from them.

If I could've gotten one at that price I'd be doing a happy dance. Also, consider the Aspire Nautilus has been out for quite a while and prices will lower over time.

Can you possibly post a pic of the tank & box?

As people have stated, Vape shops usually up their prices compared to online venders. I just bought mine for $23 at 101vapes and it was authentic (love the speedy shipping).

Its more than likely real. Your local vape shop either does not keep up on the prices listed online, or they just wanna make you feel bad for not buying from them.

If you bought it on EBay it very likely will state somewhere that it is a clone.
I purchased my mini on EBay for $24 and it was authentic.
I then found a "deal" on a full size one for $17. It leaked immediately and the two coils that came with it had shredded mesh. When I looked at the listing again in the middle of their description they stated it was a clone. The company did offer to refund it so I was not left with a bitter feeling, however I went through a lot of trouble to try and save $3

I've bought several authentic nautilus mini's from various vendors, including ebay, and I have never paid more than $25. They all have Aspire scratch codes and all checked out as authentic. There are deals on these all over the place. I love my local vape shop, their juice is great and not too expensive, but I can't afford their hardware, it outrageously marked up. I have 3 isticks, from 3 different vendors, got them all for around $30 each, but my local vape shop wants $59 for them!

In other words, like others said above, do not judge your hardware on price, there's lots of good deals out there on the real stuff!

Everything costs a lot more across the pond, yet I bought two for the equivalent of $25 (US) each from Amazon UK (independent vendor), and they checked out with the scratch code and vape perfectly -- just like the two that I ordered from ebay UK for a bit more, but all of which were far less that the €34 (around $42 US) my local places are selling them for. I just ordered a couple more for $25 from Fasttech (I'm supplying both myself and my husband, in case this seems excessive!)... so I wouldn't *necessarily* jump to the conclusion that they are fake! Check the scratch code and see how they perform, they might be perfectly legit!

Before you get upset about the alleged "clone"... I'd suggest using it and see how well it works. Odds favor it will perform just as well as an authentic model.

$22 is only a $1 less than the best deals on authentic Aspires... ie 101vapes.

Speaking of Nautilus Mini clones... You can find them currently at Chinabuye for $10.86 and a 5 pack of BVC coils for $6.69. Fit, finish and vaping performance... you can't tell the difference from an authentic. The only way I can tell it's a clone is the internal packaging in the box is plastic instead of the cardboard fiber board and the 3-D sticker on the outside is different. Oh and the scratch off code comes back as authentic on the Aspire web site. The only physical difference is the threading on the top portion of the coil unit has 2 less threads on the clone but works fine in both authentic and clone units. Vapes like a champ...
