I was looking at stuff on ebay and found this cleaner . It is non toxic and used for cleaning smoking pipes .Instantly i though hmm this sounds like it would work good for cleaning attys since it about the same thing as a smoking pipe . Do you guys think it would work ?

I used that back in the day for other purposes. All it is, is alcohol and salt I believe. Try it out and let us know. I don't think it would work on cartos. It may destroy the filler material.

I actually bought it for my brothers "other purposes" for christmas lol and just got it in the mail so maybe i will try a little out before i give it to him . I never clean cartos anymore anyway . Did it work good when you used it ?

I just tried some and it worked great . Smells like limes and is neon green . I put some in a ziplock bag and put a badly gummed up atty in there . Shook it for a min and rinsed it out . The cleaner turned from neon green to a dirty yellow . I blew out the atty and checked and its pretty damn clean and work almost like new again . It didnt leave a bad smell either . Awesome .

Did you rinse it out? I would think it is still not safe to inhale such a substance when it's vaporized.

Yup lol .I said that above . It is completely non toxic . I rinsed it out and ran water through it with my fillinator as well as blew it out .I also did one or two dry burns . It didnt leave any remaining taste or smell so i think i got it all out . The cleaner does have a very pungent lime smell . It is made for smoking pipes which you would inhale so i dont think it would be toxic to inhale but dont quote me on that .

The only thing I do to my atomizers is a weekly cleaning with hot water only. I heat up a small bowl of water in the microwave, get a syringe, and blow some water through the atomizer from the battery end. I do this about 3 times then blow out the excess from the battery end. Let it dry for a few hours then do a couple vapes with some pg or vg, and its back to working like a brand new atty. I get the cisco-spec 306LR attys from avidvapor and with this cleaning technique...they work beautifully every time. 2 weeks using just 1 atty and absolutely zero performance loss. I'm hoping to get a few months out of it. Blowing the hot water through the atty with a syringe gets rid of ALL of the gunk build up...and I vape 100% vg almost exclusively.

best thing I found for cleaning an atty is running them in an ultrasonic cleaner with water for a couple of cycles!

This. The ultrasonic cleaner is my go-to for cleaning atties - hot (distilled, when I have some) water, and that's it. Couldn't be simpler.

I did use some of the 420 cleaner back in the day, and it did fine with my glassware, but I always gave them a good clear/hot water rinse afterward, so there was never any aftertaste anyway. I'd be concerned about residue left behind in my atties that I use for dripping. I'm a little less concerned about something like a CE2 (exposed wicking, no mesh to rinse out), but my first thought is that I wouldn't use the 420 cleaner for this. No idea if any of their "natural, biodegradable" ingredients are even close to safe for vaping if the rinse wasn't 100% complete.

Also, with the glassware, the cleaner really didn't do any better than hi-test ISO (91%+) and a bit of table-salt. YMMV and all that...

Still, if it works for you Str8V8ping, more power too ya! Please don't accidentally poison yourself.. :)
