has anyone used a low resistance coil in an Ovale Eroll or Joyetech Emini?

I'm if there really will be a difference as some videos have suggested little difference between single/dual coil atomizers?

I think its generally recommended to avoid LR on small cig-a-like batteries. I've read anything under 450mah shouldn't be used with LR. As far as I understand it the amperage demand is too high for such small batteries.

A few people have tried LR attys and have said that they really can't tell a difference. However, it does cut battery life.

On the Ovale site (the USA manufacturer of the eMini, aka eRoll) an Ovale employee states that it's okay to use the LR atomizers.

Take a look at the first comment within the reviews and you'll see the Ovale response to a user asking if they can use the LR with the eMini:

Of course that doesn't mean it wouldn't drain the battery faster as someone else mentioned......

The trouble is: What's a LR for a type A? I've seen vendors call 2.2 LR which is what comes in the kit but others call LR something lower than that. I was wondering what a Standard res would be like for increased battery time but I don't even know what that is.

As I understand it, there is also a 1.8 ohm atty out there for the eRoll.

my LR eroll/ego-c attys are 1.8 ohms, the SR ones measure out to 2.2. i've tried the LR in the eroll. They work, but din't seem to wick quick enough so I kinda prefer the SR.

I finally ordered the LR atomizers and I love them! Maybe it depends on the juice that you use. I have so far tried 70/30 and 80/20 juice with the LR atomizers and the flavors seem intensified as well as the amount of vaopr. The draw seems easier too. I got mine from Ovale, but I think that I saw some on the My Freedom Smokes site too.
