Oh man I tell people in the threads all the time... few listen. read this thread from today http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/353990-i-am-tired.html You get what you pay for.... I've never read anyone say they are sorry they got a Provari because it doesn't work... Have read how people don't like asthetically how they look but that's a personal thing. I like them myself and it works so very well that I bought my wife one on Black Friday and she loves it... although she wishes I had bought black instead of satin silver... she has NO complaints about how it works... it kicks backside :)

Actually there is a lot more to the story. I bought myself a black provari... wife laid claim to it. Then on Thanksgiving morning I dropped my Lavatube and broke it... made a deal with her if i bought her her own Provari could I have mine back. Got her the silver one and got my black one back :p

Forget the provari if you can't afford it.

I take it you're looking for a vv mod. A lot of people are geting the Vamo, also called the eGo APV (although its not Ego at all). I have one.
You can get one from $40-$60. Goes from 3-6 volts and is accurate.

You can also switch to variable power (variable watts) on the same device. Goes from 3-15 watts. Or just use it with vv if you prefer.

Comes with a removable centre extension - so you can use it 1x 18350, 1x 18650, or 2x 18350.

US vendor has them here, is selling out fast:

Health Cabin have them here. I got one from there - they gave me DHL shipping cheap. Reached me in 3 days.
eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV V2 (Only Body) [D-B4 APV] - $39.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Another vv device under $150 is the Zmax. Takes 1x 18650 or 2x 18350. Mad Vapes have them for $90:
Smoktech Zmax Variable Volt APV

The Zmax is variable voltage, and also has the variable wattage option. Is accurate.

Here's some pics of both pvs for you:

Vamo and Zmax both with 1x 18650:

I have both of these. Both have variable voltage, variable power, resistance check, LED on/off and other features. At around $40 or so the Vamo is a very good price.

Well if you're pvs are nearly on the blink, $40 for a Vamo/eGo APV is a good deal. BTW, the Sigelei Zmax has come in with a good review from pbsardo. Review is a bit long but he gives it a big thumbs up:

Still within budget. I don't have the Sigelei, I have the Smoktech - both good. The Segelei is built sturdier from what I can see, and has an OLED screen.

if your budget is already $150 and your not interested in variable wattage, then get the provari.
if you want to save some money, the Zmax will be great.
REOS mods and Provape are the only 2 websites that will fix your mod for a small fee for the life of the mod. So, enjoy your vaping journey and vape on.
