Hmm that's works? To double stack the small batteries? Does it make then stronger? Or just last longer?
I think I may order it from somewhere in the states. That sounds like a really long process. I just don't have 90$ to spend on the thing !

IMHO, you don't need to stack batteries. In fact I'm not even sure it would be a good idea. Check with the Innokin site to see if it's advised. The SVD is a high quality piece of kit without playing around with it. If you get the telescoping version, you'll be fine. I've had mine since September and although I now prefer my VTR because it's not as long, the SVD is reliable and a treat to use.

If you buy it from FT, you'll be saving enough money on it to buy some other neat little items.

No. Stacking batteries just allows for the electronics to run at a higher input voltage.
If reduces battery lifetime if you don't follow the stacking protocol- matching batteries, alternating them etc.
Not recommended especially for lithium batteries.

The "problem" with the chip in the SVD (and other "chinese" mods) is that while they do work well, they're not that good at boosting the voltage of a single battery in higher power/lower resistance situations.

Stacking batteries in a mod is possible, but comes with its own risks, and takes a little extra close monitoring of the batteries used. I have a few sets of 18350's that are paired for life and are ONLY used for double stacking.
