An interesting development, quick ( on the fly) charge, small form factor, and reasonable vape time, all packed into something as portable as a cigarette pack. They are doing their homework and to me this says they want to be a viable entity in the consumer market. My jaded self sees them as offering just enough performance and convenience to keep raking in the dough with a non refillable closed container system. They have the bucks to jump through any hoops that the FDA puts up, so the better the products they offer, the better the chance that vaping will survive for newcomers down the road.

my pops started on blu's and I switched him over to a Itaste VW w\ a Kanger Aerotank mini. he totally prefers the setup, battery lasts his whole day since he's a light smoker, and because we're using a kanger aerotank, we can fill it with waay better juices than blu's array of flavors. I switched him over quick.

I do also want to point out that a charger pack and cigalike setup is what I was using 5 years ago. It worked great then, so I don't see why not now. This guy's review was great, made me crack up because there are definitely better setups out there, but for older people stubborn about the learning curve this may pose some sorta solution.

I'll stick to my Joyetech Erolls. The new Mega PCC will charge 3 at a time, and I get MONTHS out of the atomizers. The tanks are separate so they are easy to refill even if I have to do it often.

I use my eRolls all day long. The clouds are huge. I'm glad you mentioned the atties......people buy kangers and think they are cheaper, but my Joyetech atties are lasting 2-4 months! Each. I was getting a week or so out of the Kangers.

Blus are great for alot of people and have helped many to quit smoking. I am one of those who don't want or need a head size cloud of vapor and I don't want a huge contraption like some carry around. I have always liked my Blu rechargeable kit but the Plus kit looks great and I will definitely get one.

One question, are the tanks refillable?

I use the eroll too..but I really want to give this a try. I created a thread on this a couple weeks ago. Their flavors are not jc anymore..but a customer service rep told me that the cherry disposable is the new juice..and I think it is really good. I have not Bern able to find a kit this week..but the rep told me they should be showing up at stores this week.

The tax farm known as USA.
I started with blu but they were crappy and I quickly moved on. I don't care how good their stuff gets I will never give another penny to big tobacco. Buying blu means funding the bt machine that is lobbying the FDA to outlaw all "open system" vaping devices.

I will always happily support njoy though as they are fighting FOR us.

yeah i dont care how good it is, if you want to have the government wave guns around for you then i want nothing to do with you or your company

I'm going to guess and say it's something like a CE3 clearomizer, but metal, and not refillable(at least not easily). The system looks to perform well, and is simple enough to be an easy switch for a new vaper. I just wish it was someone other than BLU that put it out. If BLU starts pushing for refillable open systems, I'll consider supporting them.

Review of the all new Blu eCig PLUS Kit - tank system
TheSmokenjoey

Thanks for the link, great review. I may just give Blu another try. Recently I did something I thought I would never do again, and that's order another cigalike kit, this time from Smokeless Image, because I just got tired of lugging around my bulky eGo gear while I'm on the go. The Smokeless Image Volt is a good cigalike, but I'm really intrigued with Blu's tank system, one that looks like a regular, every day cartridge. The only disadvantage I can see, for now, is the prohibitive cost for the tanks. But, like he said in the review, that will probably go down, in time.

So I picked up a 3 pack of BLU Plus tanks, $16. They look the same as the Premium 100 cartos. I screwed one on a ProVape-1 with a fresh battery, and it didn't fire. I thought maybe I got a dud. I put it on a Mini and it fired. After checking the resistance I was a little surprised to see it has a resistance of 3.4 ohms. I thought for sure they would be low resistance. I turned up the power and found the sweet spot at 4.2 v. I proceeded to chain vape for 3 hours. It is still going strong. Good throat hit- but I have been vaping 12-18 mg lately and these are 24 mg. Vapor production is surprising for such a small tank. Taste is like a mix of Halo's Mystic with some spearmint. Bit of a tight draw, though.

I think if the longevity of the BLU batteries which come with the tank is as good and consistent as Smoken Joey says, it will be a great system for the form factor. I probably won't buy anymore tanks, though, as I had planned on using them on a PV-1. If I wanted to use a Mini for out and about vaping, I would just use a IBTanked HalfLing- which has greater taste, throat hit, vapor production and a better draw.

6Months ago my first starter Kit was from Smokeless Image. I stayed with them and the 808D Batteries up to the VVTwist of Spinner type. About 2 months before changing over to 510 on everything new I purchased

3 hours and 15 minutes of chain vaping and the tank ran dry. Seems like there is no way, or at least no easy way to re-fill it. Taking the cap off, there is another cap underneath it, which leads to the top of the tank. I did flood the center hole and got about 5 hits before the dry hit, but that's basically just dripping on the coil. Not bad at all. I can chain vape a Premium 100 carto dry in about 30 minutes...

I'll save the other 2 for my Prague trip in December to use at airports...
