Welcome and i'm sorry you don't like your setup. The best i can do is to give you some advice. :)

Get a eGo Twist battery and some vivi novas and you should be fine. Twist batteries will last you a lot more time than blu or any other cig look alike... and you could change your voltage to your liking. Its the best start up for someone new. Hope this helps.

I'll go ahead and also recommend the egos. 650mah ego batteries last me all day (not chain vaping), and the batts seem to go all the way up to 1300mah. The clearomizers (or larger) on top produce a lot more and better quality vapor with less refilling. It's my understanding that there is a heck of a cost savings over something like the blu as well, but I've never really shopped for one. If you shop around, single battery ego-class kits can be had for under $20.

Best to avoid the little cigs IMO. They look the part and spread the word about vaping, but they sure don't help its reputation.

Blu seems to be by far the most popular ecig at the smoke deck at my work, but all 3 people I know who have bought them, dumped them for real cigs again in less than a month. If I were limping along waiting for a mail shipment to arrive, I'd probably go for cheaper disposables over pricey kits.

Bought starter kit called dixie vapor. Used for 2 days and batterys wont charge now. Had to go get cheap Disposable ones till I can get something else. Thinking about blu. Can get them at a store close to the house.

If you have to have something immediately to vape that you can find locally, I'd recommend getting the NJoy King over the blu... I've tried both and the blus aren't as good.

However, if you'd like to buy a reliable 'system' that works so you can just go, here's my recommendations;

I'll give you the same recommendation I give everybody, because this is what worked for me...I'm a former 510 system user. (Well, I'm a former every vaping system available user.... :)

My vaping tastes have evolved radically over the past few years but I've found the "GO-GO" Starter Kit a good bet for the following reasons;

IF you're SICK of messin' with inconsistent Atomizers and all the of tasteless 510 & eGo vapors, then this system WILL please you.

* Cost - $59.95 for complete two eCig starter kit with (five) pre-filled Cartos or (three) pre-filled Go-Tanks: GO-GO KIT

* Batteries last up to two days between charges (depending upon how heavily you vape)

* Go-Carts - (Go-Carts hold 3ml of Nic Juice & Go-Tanks can hold up to 2 ml. (I vape all day on 2-3 ml) - The Carts are really no muss, no fuss but once you've acclimated to vaping you should really switch to the Go-Tanks (GO GO PREMIUM TANKS) as the vapor, flavor and throat hit are unparalleled. I really do insist that in time you do this :thumb:

Be sure to order the PRE-FILLED Go-Carts when you re-order. (Five pre-filled Cartos will come with your Kit but you'll need to specify the flavor and strength. I recommend 24 mg nic strength so you resist the urge to go back to analogs. I also recommend the flavor "EASY-BORO-USA Mix" as I personally believe this tastes most like regular Tobacco. I loved Menthol when I was smoker... hate it with vaping, so this natural Tobbacco flavor would most likely suit you. You can obtain that here: EASY LIQUID 10ML BOTTLES 24MG

Wishing you the best of Luck.... hope you find your Vaping Nirvana as I did :vapor:

I can vouch for not getting the Blu's myself.I paid $79.00 for the kit when i first started vaping too,and if you think the batteries do not charge with what you have now,you will be in for a rude awakening.I was strapped to my laptop to have to use them even with the PCC because it could not keep up with charging in between batts.They only lasted about 25-30 minutes of use on 1 batt and the PCC took 1-1/2 hours to charge a batt.DO NOT get the Blu kit stay clear of it.

Thanks for all the info. Decided to go with the ego c.The place I bought the 510 kit from toke it back and gave me an ego 650 style battery and 5 catomizers. Still have my Logic charged for a backup just in case. Again thanks for all the info this forum has help alot.:thumbs:

The Ego C is a very good kit,if you are still looking for a back up i would suggest a Vision Spinner 1300mah battery(they are basically an ego twist and i charge the 2 i have in 2 day intervals when i am using them).you can pick them up at madvapes.com for $24.99 and can add a CE4 clearo i believe is what they are adding to it,so for about $30.00 you will have a long lasting back up.

I think you'll be much happier with the Ego than the Blus,,,,,,,

but do yourself a favor and work in 2 more into the budget,,,,,,,one to use, one to charge while using the other, and one for a back up in case one of the first two dies,,

make sure to have backups for juice, cartos (or other juice delivery system), and chargers too!!!!!

Not saying you have to order everything immediately,,,,,,,,but I'd plan to get back ups as soon as financially possible!

Since you are new to vaping, I recommend either the Volt from smokeless image - cig look alike that actually works really well, is cheap, refillable cartos, and is one of the best cig types on the market. They also have eGo style batteries if you need something bigger that lasts longer between charges.

The eGo styles are really nice, too.

Don't get a Blu - I don't know anyone who has stuck with them for more than a week or two.

Phil,

Are they sending you this?

Dixie eGo Passthrough Kit

If you include the cartos and free shipping, I suppose that isn't an absurd price for an ego 650 passthrough.

It's a decent starting device. Just understand that you will need better soon. Keep the ego passthrough as a backup device. At least with that you can charge and vape at the same time. Just don't plug this into your computer if you plan to do this. I'd avoid plugging this into my computer entirely if I could avoid it.

This vendor does not have quality equipment. If the most powerful device they sell is a 650ego, they are epic fail. I'd start looking at options elsewhere. The ECF registered vendors are a good idea, because if they screw you over, they have us to answer to. We are the ultimate consumer advocate group.

Look at the ego twist. A pair of those and a charger would have you set for a very long time. After that, it's only a question of what kind of head you want to run, and juice.

If you are a klutz like me and drop your PV often, avoid ego anything. They are not overbuilt internally, and I've lost half a dozen ego type devices to 'deceleration trauma'. If you also fall into this category, look into this option. It isn't VV but 3.7v with a low resistance head will give you all the power you need:

Crystal Clear Vaping

Device, charger, two 1050mah batts, attys, cartos, juice.

I'd pick up a drip tip or two, other than that, it's a complete kit for under $60

This is what I'm starting my vape noobs on at my job. It's very well built, and time tested.
