Switching supplier, need some advice (LiteCigUSA, V4L, or Smokeless Image?)

I would recommend LiteCigUSA.net for a less expensive kit but someone said lately that they were selling KR8 batteries without the gold button and with their logo on them that were not as good.

I recommend manuals. Most people here use and recommend manuals.

V4L vs SmokelessImage

V4L - 3.7v, the hottest cartos (the WOW ones), and between those cartos and their WOW juices, more hit. Their manuals still have a hole but seem to be mostly sealed inside. their button is normal size. 280mah for the standard size which is the size I recommend

SmokelessImage - 3.6v, if their cartos are the same as Bloogplanet then they have a smoother less hot drag (their coil is near the threaded end of the carto) so less hit but it's an easier drag so you may get a bigger drag more easily. Rubberized finish, manuals available in some colors. They claim more battery life (for the standard 78mm battery size that is 320mah instead of 280mah) and these make 120mm ecig just like the V4: standard. The manual button is tiny and partially recessed and a bit harder to press.

Keep in mined that you can use either's cartos on either one.

Thanks for the informative post. I've decided on a Volt kit for sure. I am curious to try their auto batteries, so I may get one manual, one auto, and then get a spare later on of whichever I end up preferring. I'm aware of the compatibility of 808 carts, I'm holding onto the V2 carts I got for refilling. I'll end up picking up a case or two from V4l, so I could purchase a pack of WOWcarts for comparison to Volt's carts. I'll try V4L's juice for sure, but I'm more inclined to go for LiteCigUSA's Dekang juice.

It's not scary. Manual batteries die too. Just be sure to take your carto off the battery before filling and you'll be ok.

Don't just take it off. I've been refilling my KR808's for a couple days and have seen juice drip through and leave a spot on the table up to a couple minutes after I finished.

I'd recommend:
  1. Take the carto off
  2. Pop the top and refill
  3. Let it sit for a minute or two
  4. Tap the bottom on the table a couple times
  5. Blow through it and see if it gurgles. If so, blow it out until it stops
  6. Wipe off any juice on the exterior
  7. Screw it back on and enjoy

Good move returning the v2cigs kit. You'll get twice as much stuff for the same price elsewhere.

Also smart to try both types of batteries and even different lengths for stealth vs time. Sign up at V4L or visit their forum to get the coupon codes. THey have sales 1-2 times a week, some as much as 33% off their good prices. If you get a passthru, try V4L Coolcarts on it. The 5 volts is too much for the WOW carts.

Manual batteries are easy to get used to, within a few days you don't even think about it. You get a more controlled vape since it heats up before you take a hit.

Make sure for all batteries, you clean your threads before you put them on the charger and they will last a long time. Chargers don't like old eliquid gunk either.

For KR808's-

V4L- had nothing but good experiences with their customer service. Quick reply and very helpful
LiteCigUSA - purchased from them but never needed to contact CS (bought chargers and cartos)
Smokeless Image - ditto. Purchased cartos and battery
Halo- great company, great suppliers.
Bloog- no comment

I hate to have to say this, but V4 diamond batteries don't last very long. I love how hot they vape but no matter what cart I have used them with, they just either don't take or hold a charge after a few months. The warranty is not good as I contacted customer service and was told they were OUT of warranty. I also use V2 and no matter how long I've had their batteris, they will replace. I've had a couple of theirs go bad too. I want to deal with other companies that will replace long autos like V2 does any suggestions ?

I've never bought 808 stuff from Litecig but I do buy all my 510 atty's and carto's from them and it is really fast shipping and great prices. They always get my order right and if I order on say a Tuesday I can pretty much set my watch to getting my stuff on Thursday.

V4L is where I started and their customer service is awesome. That said, there was a couple of times where they got my order wrong. Sending me the wrong color of something or forgetting something. After that I moved to 510 and stopped using them. So my experience was kinda mixed but I still think they are a great company with great customer service and a great product. Just sometimes felt like I was playing Russian roulette with what I was actually going to get after ordering.
