I just posted a not particularly happy post about these developments in the other thread.

I'd like an explanation and discussion of this thread splitting prior to moving in over here.

I'm pretty confused as well, but I'm sure it is for the best. I don't know if we are to stop posting in the main thread, or what. My guess is that this thread is for general chit chat, and the other is for strictly AiV juice related talk.

I'm sure that we will get more clarification soon.

So yeah not sure what to make of all of this. My thoughts:

If this is what Jah and Nicole want then 100% all random chit chat belongs here. If this is based on the complaints of a minority then... meh. Many of the supplier threads on here are random meandering discussions amongst a small community that are there because they love a product. Check out the Zenesis or Epipemods threads for example. I personally as a consumer love seeing threads like that because it sends a very strong message that people are so into these products they choose to inhabit the thread of that product. It also means people are always there to answer any questions perspective customers might have immediately. Maybe I'm in the minority, but when I go to a supplier thread that has some random reviews and an occasional question with hours or days between responses, I get wary. Just my 2 cents... that is all.

Pretty bored, so I decided to do 7 wraps on the phoenix. Probably going to fail, but you never know until you try it.

Looks clean. What is the resistance? Do you have any leak issues? I occasionally have a bit of juice come out, but have read about swapping with drip tip orings for a better seal.

It was a fail. Hahaha. It was 2.9 I think. I rebuilt it again, with my usual 5 wraps for 2.2 ohms.

I don't have any leak issues when it stands straight up. But if I lay it on its side right after filling it up with juice, it leaks out the airhole. Only fall back of this device IMO.

Absolutely. Im ordering some kanthal wire and cotton wicking on thursday, as well as a new AiV order. This device is currently my obsession and ive been doing lots of reading on it.

We seriously need some US vendors to stock and sell the XL version. And I ordered some 1/0 cotton off of ebay. Will definitely report in about it VS the #4 cotton yarn from walmart.

Hmmmmm how was that coil a fail? I think I'm running 7 wraps in my phoenix right now and I know I squeezed 7 into my favorite vivi nova head the other night. The nova reads 2.6 because of the twisted legs I guess and the phoenix reads 3.2. My phoenix is set up vertical though so maybe that helps with room

You could be right, they definitely like some room to breathe. I had one with a hot leg that tasted the same way. Also opened up the hole a touch with a needle file and things are gravy now. Looks like a shop local to me is considering carrying the Alice liquids so i will be able to try them very soon.

I'll check it out when I get home. I personally don't use nr wire so it could be a hot leg.

And do not hesitate to buy Alice juice!

I don't use NR wire either, just straight 34ga nichrome and a bit of fiddling to get it right.

Definitely looking forward to test driving some Alice juice, may have to thin the herd just a bit to get wifey to approve more purchases

I still do not understand the purpose of using NR wire. IT seems like an added step with little benefit. The alice in vapeland juices are worth thining for, Can't say a bad thing about them.
