Hi all,

I am aware this is a first post, and may not be taken all that seriously, but I'm hoping the welcoming users I've seen elsewhere on the forum all enjoy my thoughts.

I didn't get into vaping to quit analogs. Only as a means to reduce the cost of my nicotine addiction. I have actually quit smoking except at work (I'm a bartender and the only breaks I get are to smoke; vaping is allowed inside).

My thoughts on the future of vaping lie somewhere near what Mystic of doing with their Haus line. A two part refillable PV. It has a rebranded eGo battery, and a plastic one piece clearomizer/coil. The wick and coil are non replaceable, only the whole tank($7). Haus also has 5 flavors of E-Liquid in one(10mL) bottle size, and one nic concentration(2.4%/24mg per mL). These are all available at most of my local 24 hr gas stations.

The product line seems as if it was designed with these regulations in mind. The clearomizer/coil is one piece, one use, and disposable; there's only one hardware piece to approve. The liquid while having five flavors, has one bottle size and one nic concentration. That leaves six products for testing and approval. That number allows a company of Mystic's size to afford approval, for a vaporizer system as well as for their cig-a-likes.

As I said I'm new to this whole community and only am here after(quite accidentally!) that I enjoy vaping more than smoking. If I missed anything or made any factual errors let me know.

Hello, it would be a travesty if companies like this (cigalike and ego rebranders w/ one nic stregth)) are all there is after whatever regulations are final, and if flavors are banned they will only have two offerings of the same nic strength(24%), that'll leave a lot of smokers without choice who'll stay smoking regular cigs. This is why it's imprtant to do all that can be done to fight the regulatory prccess, and is why I bought a couple of quality pv's that will last a lifetime, no matter what happens with the FDA. Btw, I think you misspelled the company's name. What are you vaping?

It could go this way crackizzle. For now their marketing strategy is very sound. High volume and if they've done their homework well, a good product.

I don't know how big the company is so I don't know if they can afford the FDA approval process. If they can, prices will go way up compared to what they charge now. Not good for the future of e-cigs.

Also, 24 mg nic juice will not be good for many new vapers.

Let's hope it does not go this way :thumb:

Thanks for the replies!

When I started vaping (3 weeks ago) finding 24 mg nic was amazing. 12 mg and 18 mg just didn't cut it. I've since moved on to 36 mg, but it was the widely available 24 mg that made me not even want an analog.

My nicotine usage may not be typical, I was smoking 2.5 packs of Newport Kings per day.

Hello and welcome!

Glad to hear that you have found something that works for you. At some point you may be interested in upgrading or just be interested in seeing some of the products that others are using.
