Well in all honesty it was released just a few days ago, believe the AMP tank went live on Feb 17th ish, know it's on the market though. I think either manufacturers have possibly heard of the device being released, anticipate knock offs, or have intentions of assembling their own variation. Honestly the only thing that draws me to it is the use of the hh 357 with a tank. Best of both worlds; an atomizer that last really long time and get good flavor(some say their 357's have lasted over a year!!!); and not having to drip in order to get that great atomizer flavor........Think I might eventually take the plung for the tank just want to hear more reviews on it and wait until (if any are present at release) all the kinks are worked out.

edit: my bad, realised the website said currently unavailable, thought I heard somewhere they where being released on 17th.......

Thanks for all your inputs! I am going to just use these atties untill they all die, and then pick up one of the tanks you have suggested. Maybe a tank will have came out before then that will work with my atties. I just wish i would have known before purchasing. Make sure you do your research before purchasing!

No.

If you go to the vendor the other guy linked to, they sell stainless finished attys that THEY say are "for use in tanks" They aren't tank attys, they are just regular attys. Here is the link:

Genuine Joye 510 1.5 Ohm LR electronic cigarette 10-pack of NON-COATED stainless atomizers

The Amp tank uses an atty, but that's a brand new product, and as far as I know the only tank on the market that uses attys, and I don't even believe its been released yet anyway.

so the question remains, what the heck is VaporKings talking about?

The description on the vendor website reminds me of the GG UFS. But why you'd put a Joye 510 atty in a UFS is beyond me...

I just had an idea guys. I'm looking at the AMP Tank right and looking how it works. The base is basically an extender and redirects the air path to the side. It feeds through the holes above the threads on an atomizer. So, what if I get a 510 to 510 extender and do the same thing with say my j-tank or something with a long barrel

Custom made atty tanks have been made before. Someone here on ECF in the Tank mod section used a 306 atty in a custom atty tank. I used their idea and built a similar one but using a 510 atty. Not sure how theirs worked out for them, but mine was sort of a hassle to use. It either hit dry or flooded.

The basic concept was to poke holes in a tube that's being used as an extension over the atty, to fit in a normal carto tank. The holes were small enough to not constantly leak tons of juice into the atty, but big enough to such in juice when you take a draw. I figure I just didn't get my holes the right size to work.

I have no idea if the Amp tank works the same way. I haven't bothered looking at it too much due to the price.

But I got excited when I saw that vendor was selling attys and mentioning they were for use in tanks. I was hoping perhaps there was an older, cheaper atty tank available that the vendor had in mind when they said that.
