Thanks mwa!
IKV isn't open right now, and I don't have an io6.

So, to make sure I understand you:
you prefer a 306, but a 510 connection atty would work,
as long as the "cartridge" I insert into the atty fits against or inside the drip tip I use so liquid does
not flow down into the center,
and, I am able to get holes in the "cartridge" I insert into the atty,
and any tank will do.

Am I way off base there?

Edited to add:
does it have to be a debriged and/or dewicked?

Ok, based on mwa's video, here's what I did....
Since I have limited amounts of atty's, I used the bridgeless 510 atty I got with this set up:
GotVapes 510 Bridgeless PumpCart System HV 3.1 ohm SMOKY [gv-bridgelesspumpcart-HV-SMOKY] - $10.99 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

and the plastic cartridge from a Joye 510 atty like this:
Joye 510 or Joye eGo electronic cigarette replacement atomizers

I thought about using the eGo atty I have, but they are both green, and I'd rather use SS, uncolored.

I took out the both plastic end pieces from the mouth end of the cartridge, poked a few holes
in the plastic cartridge in various places and put it into the atty.

I then put the whole thing into a syringe type tank I have, and filled the tank.
Now, I don't have a drip tip that would fit in the mouth end, so I used the rubber tip I received with
with some clearomizers,
GotVapes FLuXomizer™ DeLuXe CLEAR NoTint 510 XL 1.8ml 3.0-3.2ohm [gotvapes-clr510XL3.0-ce2x] - $11.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I had to squeeze the tip into the mouth end some to get it to fit, but it works.

So far, there doesn't appear to be any leaking.
I do think I need a few more holes in the cartridge, but so far so good.
I'll give it 24 hours to check for leaking and report back if anyone is interested.
I always leave my set ups standing up, I don't store them laying down unless there isn't any cart/atty/tank
attached to the end.

Thanks again.

I have an IKV 3.5 atty, but nothing to use for a "cartridge".

i also have some of those attys and have taken a resurrector carto apart for the tube. the 510 atty and ss carto tube seal up great with the atty. iv yet to punch any holes as iv heard the 510 attys wont work due to design.using that tube it seals up nice in the tank with out leaks. i have dripped with this set up and it does leak from the bottom of the atty but i also put about 15 drops in in a rush.would that be the reason it leaked? sorry iv been a tank carto guy and had those laying around getting dusty and a old resurrector carto to butcher.never tried the dripping style.

Just opened the mail, with my 306's.
One was DOA.
They are, of course with my luck, too short to go in any existing tank I have.
Even with a drip tip I had also bought, just in case.

So.....

Put the 306 atty on my Provari.
I made a few holes in the yellow cartridge that came with the 306.
Took the innards out of an old CE2 I had.
Slipped the empty CE2 plastic over the yellow cartridge of the 306. (it fits pretty tight)
Took that off again to put the tank back together.

Put the yellow cartridge into the bottom o-ring still on my tank.
Put the clear plastic through the top o-ring, cut off the excess with scissors.
Slid in a 510 drip tip and put the top o-ring back on the tank,
fitting the clear plastic over the yellow 306 cartridge.

First couple of hits were on the dry side.
I did have to "suck" some juice into the cartridge to get it going, but it seems to be flowing now with
no problems.

There doesn't seem to be any leaking, but I have been at this point before and found leaks later.
I did have to turn the Provari way down to the lowest setting.
But, clean taste, decent throat hit, lots of vapor.

Atty was supposed to be 2.5, and maybe I'm checking wrong, but my Provari says it's 1.7,
so I'm concerned with turning the voltage up.

It's ugly, it's crooked, but so far it's working, and working well.
Maybe it will hold up until I get a tank that fits the 306 better.

Inspired by MWA Atty Tank set up thread, I made my atty tank tonight. I took a DSE-510 1.8 lr chrome 510 atty from Value Vapor and punched a hole right above the cup next to the bridge with a sharp dry wall screw. I took the lil mama tube from Big Daddy Vapor and grinded it down to fit the atty on my bench grinder. Then I slipped one of their new black anodized caps on one end filled it a little more than half way covering the hole, then slipped the other cap on and a black/clear drip tip. The tank is a little small due having to shorten it to seal onto the atty sleeve but it works pretty good. I'll tilt the Provari to where the hole is submerged. If I feel it starts to get dry I just pre fill by sucking before I fire the atty and it wets the atty again. I'm vaping it at 4.3v with clouds of vapor.

Looks good DTV! I don't have anything to make a tank with, and I'm not very handy that way.....
so I have to go with tanks I already have.
There's a very minor amount of leaking around the bottom, and I'm certain that's because the 306 is just a hair
smaller in diameter than the bottom ring on the tank I'm using.

I had used part of a CE2 clearo as a "sleeve" for the top of the atty, to make it fit the top ring, the length of the tank,
and to be able to use some sort of tip to vape with.
I'm wondering if I can use one as a "sleeve" over the entire atty, would that make it fit the tank better.

And maybe I'll luck out and get a Jonboy tank and switch the o-rings.
