I tried a 510 and an eGo before buying.... eGo is the way to be my friend! A full battery has never lasted me less than a full day even when vaping hoggishly or sharing with friends. The taste & draw are signifigantly better as well. Doooooooo it!

I'll second that the regular 510 cartos are fine with the cone. They don't stick out much, but it's plenty to get your lips around.

That was about the path I took. I went from the 808 cartomizer setup, to a 510 setup then finally to an ego setup. The ego is nice. It might not be the tip-top of the line, but it's good performance. I use the mega atomizer. It's well worth the price.

All the 510 cartos I've bought stick out from the cone plenty. EDIT: about 1.5cm. Actually, it makes it look more like a cigar since the cone is closer to your mouth (my lips don't touch the cone tho, barely). I use Boge soft-tip 510 cartos from litecig. Also used an 808 adapter and vapronine turbos before 510 cartos came out ...

I currently have a 510 and while I do like it, I am looking for a better battery life. I don't want to mess with LR atty's right now, or drip tips, or anything but the standard batts, atty's, cartos (if I can use them with an Ego), and carts.

Now, what besides the obvious ego battery, do I need to get so it will work with my 510 atty? Anything?
I know I must get a different charger, but other than that, are there adapters I need? If so, why?

Go with the eGo. I have mine paired with LR atty's and mega battery's. I get 1 1/2 days on mine and I am a heavy vapor. 3 ml's of juice per day average.

The eGomega cartos/attys are well sorth trying out, they hold twice as much juice as 510 cartos, and produce much more vapor.

I really wish these were cheaper. I've spent at least 12-14 hours fighting with the filler to find a good configuration just because after using them the standard 510 and 510 mega atomizers I have just do not satisfy.

I already burned one out in a week. I think I'm going to have to go back up to 24 or 36mg just so I don't hit the thing all day long. I guess that's kind of expected coming from 2-3 packs a day, though.

I ordered ego batteries to start with but had to upgrade to the 900mah pretty quick, I still fully discharge two of them every day on average.

You're right, I wanted to order from there originally, but they were (and still are) out of stock on the regular size eGo. There was no word in their forum on when it would be coming back, so... I kept looking. They do have some great prices, though!
