Hello All,

I am a new member. I have been vaping for about a month now.

Right now my setup is a Dovpo E-Mech with an AeroTank Mega.

My E-mech has variable wattage and go up to 30 watts. However, I would like to know what I need to do exactly and what precautions I must take to get to that level without it blowing my coil or having any other unwanted effects.

Right now I am using a 1.9 ohm coil. Would this coil and the aerotank mega be safe to get to 30 watts with? Or would I need a different tank or different ohm coil? Since I am somewhat of a beginner, I am afraid to just try it in fear of blowing a coil or messing anything up. I figured, since my mod can get to 30 watts, I'd like to try it or get close. I may end up not wanting to vape at that high wattage on a daily basis, but I'd like to know that I could if I wanted.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

I wouldn't recommend vaping an AeroTank at 30 watts under any circumstances. You are, however, welcome to try it although if you do, you probably won't care for the experience. :D Sound advice above to try at about 10 watts and work up from there. Also +1 on getting a dripper that you can build with 2 coils. I am currently running dual coils in one of my RDA's at .7 ohm and vaping that at 20 watts. I have yet to find the need to use 30, but you might with the appropriate set up. Good luck!

They now make .8 ohm coils for the Kanger Aerotank for sub-ohming. . I use them in mine on my HexOhm Box. Good luck & VAPE ON:vapor:

That's awesome. is that coil just plug and play? do I need to do any modifications to sub ohm with it? As in do I just vape as usual? I always thought tanks had to be rebuildable for sub ohming

Get a decent dripper and set it up with dual coils and cotton. You'll be vaping at 30W before you know it.

Don't just jump into Rebuildables with out doing some home work if you go that route. Got to ask yourself why go 30 watts first. I have a 30 watt mod but have yet to need to go over 25. Big clouds are impressive but all that vapor you see is not being absorbed it's all a psyh thing. Back to RTAs/RDAs learn Ohms laws, Learn battery safety ( us a good battery like the SONY VTC4 or VTC5), get an ohm meter of some kind and us the darn lock if you go with a mech. That being said if I had it to do over I would have gotten a Cloupor DNA 30 Box Mod rather than my no name cana 30. Hope this helps will reserve giving build advice until i see that is what you really want.
