I started with a stingray and magma clone and since then have bought a few more mods and rdas, however my magma is still the one that produces the most flavor for me. I also have a hobo v2.1 and darkhorse rda and thought the hobo would produce some good flavor but I haven't been able to find a build that works for me yet.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a better rda than the magma in terms of flavor? Also I have shyed away from tank systems just because i used to use clearomizers and kanger protanks and used 12mg nicotine in them, now I use rda's solely at 6mg. Another question I have is that with these new tanks with lots of airflow like the lemo drop and gobin rta will I need to go back up to 12mg nicotine or not? And what about the older tanks with more restricted airflow does the same apply to them? Because I would like to venture out into some tanks as well as long as I don't have to buy 1 flavor in 2 different types of nicotine level. Thanks in advance!

veritas.

I have a magma, veritas, bigd, igo-w3.
after a few months vaping on the magma and the veritas, it seems the plastic separator block down in the dripwell contributes significantly enough to taste to bother me; I do vape a lot of unflavoured however, otherwise it might not have been noticeable.

Since you started with drippers and are interested in a tank, have a look at the flash e-vapour:

thank you for the suggestion I have heard good things about the veritas and was another rda I was considering but went with the hobo instead. I should of went the other way and got the veritas, oh well and was wondering if the new marquis was as good or better than the veritas?

I have this one 30mm veritas
1776804-1.jpg

Perfect for single coil.
The 22mm one 2 negative screws not 3.
The airflow passes through the positive center pin- so liquid could get down inside there
There is only one airhole to worry about, so as long as I keep that hole upward, I don't have to worry about a leak.
The particular clones I got I noticed when I put them to soak to get machine oil out, the water got slightly reddish after a day, and the screws showed obvious signs of corrosion.
One out of the 3 I got had some damage of the center pin insulator; took it apart, and damaged it some more when reinserting the center pin through the insulator.

The marquis:

Has two airholes.
Note the airholes go at the sides of the center pin so no complication there.

I have the Magma and the Veritas , the two are pretty much equal in terms of flavor with a single coil build but I give the edge to the Magma in flavor with dual coils in it . The Veritas is definitively more leak resistant but a little more time consuming to build . I don't think you're gonna find a better flavor RDA than the Magma IMO . As far as tanks go you might want to take a look at the Aqua V2 , excellent flavor and it can be rebuilt or rewicked without draining the tank , single or dual coils and plenty of airflow . With dual coils in it I seriously doubt you'd need to increase your nicotine .

If you put the right build in your dark horse, you will be amazed at what it can do. It has a lot of airflow, so you have to build accordingly. I put a dual Clapton coil on mine and the flavor was excellent.

As far as tanks, my adv is a kanger sub tank, and no, you definitely won't have to go back up in Nic with it. I usually vape 18-21 in my aerotanks, but with my sub tank 6 is my max.
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

I've got veritas, dark horse, manta, atomic. Veritas and atomic was my best flavor rda(I think) but I personally don't like veritas airflow so I use manta v2 more than veritas not to mention it's pain in the #$! To build. So these days I just use dark horse and manta v2

errr,, why are you wrapping the coil leg around the screws/nuts the wrong way?

I'll add another vote for the Veritas. Pick up a well-reviewed clone on FT or Ebay to see if you like it.

I usually opt for a single coil placed horizontally right across the airflow for flavor chasing.

Like the magma, the Veritas doesn't leak unless you do something dumb.

I still prefer the EH Pro Kayfun lite plus V2 clones with two modifications: 1) remove the airflow control screws, 2) nano kit. I get good airflow/flavor, they're durable and with the nano kit, they're pocketable.

If you get the airflow and build right on kayfun or any of these newer tanks, you shouldn't have to up your nic level. Maybe just take an extra puff here and there.

If it was dual coil I'll definitely do that. also thanks for the tip. Personally I don't think there is such thing as right or wrong way long as you can get the results you wanted. It's just that to me making the coil before wrapping the wire to the post was easyer. Sorry for being a newbie after all I been doing this for a month now.
