I found them pretty good for a cigalike (I used a v2, a halo g6, and a volt x2 batteries until I just jumped to an iTaste vv4). They're all Kr808d-1 threaded so you can mix and match batteries, carts, and clearos from any of those companies without an issue. I like their eliquids but I must say I am not a fan of their refillable clearomizers. If you want 808 threaded clearo I like v2's EX blanks best of all the ones I've tried. In fact I just ordered a 808 to 510 adapter so I can continue to use them to try different liquids without having to mess with my bigger ego/510 clearos.

Best of luck!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

If you are looking for a setup here are some possible options for you to consider:

A variable v/w (twist/spinner) is usually recommended over a "non variable" v/w battery. It allows you to adjust your settings to get a better "vape". Some flavors taste better at higher voltages than 3.7v

1. JoyeTech Ego-C Twist
2. Vision Spinner
3. Innokin iTaste vv v3 (or the new vv v4 - 750mah or 1000mah)
4. Innokin iTaste MVP v2 (or even better an MVP 20 watt)
5. eLeaf iStick

The first 3 are fall into the "ego style" category of battery (with variable voltage). They range in size from 600mah to 1300mah. The higher the mah the longer the battery will last between charging.

The 4th & 5th ones are a step up from an "ego style" battery in that they are smaller variable v/w box mods with a very big battery (2400-2600mah). It will last many vapers a whole day before it needs recharging. The MVP is probably one of the most popular batteries for someone upgrading from an "ego style" battery. The iStick is also very popular.

I suggest buying only name brand Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner ego batteries if you choose to go this route. BTW, "ego" is merely a type of battery, not a brand name. Buying "generic" ego batteries is always going to be hit or miss...mostly miss.

You will also need to purchase a tank (the juice attachment) and extra coils. The mini Nautillus, mini Aerotank or regular size Aerotank (all made of glass & all have adjustable airflow control) are very popular.

Why would you want a glass tank (you may be thinking to yourself)? Here is a great resource regarding "tank cracking" eliquid by ECF member Baditude: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

They're perfectly fine kit, but.. f you like it and the price is right for you, no worries. However, their stuff is pretty expensive in terms of bang-for-buck, with similar kits from other companies costing 40-50% cheaper.

When you tried your friends eliquid, was it in a G6 cartomizer or a tank?

They are fine for what they are, an 808 threaded cig-sized. Another similar is the Smokeless Image Volt. Halo is a bit expensive. You will be limited to cartomizers and g6 tanks (Smokeless Image mini tanks are the same but cheaper).

I used Smokeless Image Volts and Halos for my first 6 months. But that was nearly 3 years ago when there were less ecigs available.

I would recommend some sort of ego/510 threaded battery to start. More options, more room for growth.

    I tried my buddy's Halo e-liquid yesterday,it's great!!Then i looked at their website,found the G6 starter Kits.Maybe it's a good choice for me,the new vaper!!!Anybody tried it?Please give me some suggestion,if you have any other good suggestion,let me know!!

Good morning, welcome to ECF; make yourself right at home! :)
I've purchased one but would advise you to choose the automatic battery over the manual ... the button on the manual is much too small for me.

Really good company tribeca is a solid juice on lower volt devices but mostly I would suggest investing in a vv or vw mod and get a nautilus or atlantis by aspire. Also if you can shell out the cash a provari is like 100 more and lasts awhile. IMO in the long run the batteries will cost you they die after 6 months and deteriorate and cost $25. Chill.... With a mod, provari w.em repairs are cheap. Batteries are $10 and your good to go for a looong time!
