Have I joined the ranks of the PG sensitive?

I would consider a lower cart strength. I noticed i was starting to get a little light headed about two weeks into it. I have never had any BP issues but decided to check it out just to be safe. When using the 18mg carts(as much as I started chain vaping) The ol' BP was up to 145/90. Too High! Switched to the 6mg carts and all was normal again. Now switching to lower nic and even ordered some 0mg this time around to try and rid myself of nic all together.

Mouth sores can be a normal side effect of quitting smoking fwiw. However...

So all of that is understandable... but now for the PG-related symptoms.
One week into my vaping I started to have a weird issue with my throat. Felt like it closed up a little which confused me because at that point I was smoking no analogs. I was at the lake and I was swimming neck deep in water and started feeling like gagging. I swam to shore and coughed and coughed. Felt like someone tied a tie way too tight, like something was shoved in the back of my throat.

I've started to get this too, and it is an unmistakeably scary feeling. If it doesn't go away very soon I'll just give up vaping too. Which sucks because I would have a pretty big stock of stuff I'll never really use.

I think you may be right. The more I vape, the weirder I feel. I'll give a lower nic a try. :)

I can add this. I have juice from Johnson creek. And the Carts from Steve.

With the juice fron JC I didn't have a problem with any sores in my mouth. I did though feel light headed as there sample pack only comes in 18mg. (reduced pg)

With Steve's carts. I got sores in my mouth. BUT no light headedness. My lungs did feel like they were shutting down. So I was able to figure out that 18mg was to high.

And that I have an intolerance to pg. But I can handle reduced. So putting a few drops of vg in the carts helped a ton.

Steve is working on getting vg carts in. So that is a huge plus.

If you can get ahold of some vg. Local grocery store, health food store. Add a few drops and see if it helps. If that does not make a difference then try straight vg juice.

If I drove I would offer my 18mg sample set that I can't use. But it would never make it to the mail box. lol

Yep, I just got home and saw this. I had the same idea, and I purchased some USP grade VG. Will cut it with some of my 18mg later on. :)

I'm beginning to wonder if I have a PG allergy as well.

Ive experienced both sides of symptoms.

Nic overdose: The first week I got 36mg nic. I was a 6-10 per day smoker; 36mg was way too much. Symptoms: Headache, lack of eye focus , sweating and then chills, fatigue.

Those symptoms calmed down when I switched to 16-24mg, though I still get milder versions when I don't control myself.

It came back from then more often. I'd gag/choke in the shower or when brushing my teeth. A few days ago I attempted to get my x-rays done at the dentist, and it took 45 minutes for them to do it because I would have gag reflex. Even then I didn't get xrays of my very back teeth. I would start choking! That hasnt happened to me since I was 12! It's like my throat is closed in.

I have a swelling under my chin. Feels like two glands under chin are abnormally large (saliva glands I am guessing). Like clockwork, they started swelling when I started vaping.

Mouth sores. Got up to 6 at once. Worse than normal canker sores. Hurt to even talk. Took 2 weeks to disappear. Got them like 2-3 times in only a few months.

Dry throat is normal for vaping, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to feel like sandpaper, and water can't quench it.

PG Reaction? I don't know. I'm scared. I love my vaping and I still vape regardless. I'm down to 1 analog every few days and even then they are dissatisfying and taste like crap (....-logs!)

Im trying to plan a trip to Doctors but money is very tight and I'm foolish to not have health insurance. I'm going to give Johnson Creek reduced-PG juice a try, unless I can find PG-free juices elsewhere. I love Vapor4life carts so much I don't want to give them up, but some aspect of vaping is causing strain on my health and something needs to change.

I'm not the kind of guy to assume it's PG but the evidence falls in that direction. Hope all works out for myself and everyone else!
I've tried Johnson Creek and was not impressed at all. Too thick of a taste, made me want to scrape it off of my tongue. And flavor vapes away too soon. I mean it still gave lots of vapor without flavor. But that could be just me

Well, I'm really starting to think it's too much nic. I'm not completely positive yet, but I'm heading that way. I had two real smokes back to back and felt fine, but a few minutes later I took a drag of 18mg and I felt instantly funny. Slightly fuzzy or something. If it is, I'm going to be really annoyed because I have about 20 cartos filled with 18mg AND I'm leaving for vacation on Monday so there will be no time at all to get lower nic. Grrr.

I wish I understood how I can be perfectly FINE with 18mg one day and it's too much the next. I'm half-tempted to keep using the 18 anyway to see if I can build a tolerance back up. I can't stand to waste all the juice in those cartos!
