Before I spend more money on juice that irritates my throat, is it possible cheap flavorings are the problem? I know I'm sensitive to cheap colognes and perfumes (they constrict my throat) so I'm wondering if something similar is going on with the juice or if I'm sensitive to PG.
My son swears PG gives him a sore throat. I find PG is harsher on my throat. I tried VG and loved it at first but after awhile it feels too thick and the flavor is not as good. So back to 80/20 PG/VG for me. I could change my mind again tomorrow....lol
Try one bottle of a heavier VG mix and see how it feels. I'm sensitive to perfumes too and have never had a problem vaping any flavoring in all 20pg/80vg mixes.
I found that rather than the pg/vg ratio, certain flavors tend to aggitate my throat more than others. Like Vanilla, cinnamon and menthols. But I can vape them, just not all day.
I'm really new at this, but for me I'm almost certain it's the PG. It seems whenever I go back to a higher PG juice I get a scratchy feeling way back in my throat, and it also gives me indigestion. Good luck.
