Hello everyone!
Just a quick note to say I've just joined the forum and thanks already for the informative views and opinions from the posts here.

I'm fairly new to this e-smoking having recently bought the e-health twin pack from dealextreme. After about a week both of them are rendered pretty useless- no vapour, no feel of the nicotine etc. This did initially taint my view of e-smoking, but I've taken the plunge and purchased a white 901 from e-cigs.co.uk, along with a sample pack of JC juice. Hopefully things will be better with this combo!

All the best:D

Yes, good choice- The penstyle however will require less frequent refilling, and batteries will last longer between charges, but hte 901 is a very solid performer, lots of vapor, and many people like it very much. you should pick up an extra atomizer or two to have on hand just incase though- all atomizers go bad.

Thanks for the reply Nazareth, I was initially going for the penstyle, and maybe that will be the next purchase when I see how I get on with mini. I don't know if its a mental thing but its important that I see some vapour when exhaling so i'm glad you've mentioned that it's got loads of it. I shall be awaiting my parcel with anticipation, many thanks

I'm with you on the vapor issue- I gotta see lots of it too. I have however recently gone with throwaway cigars that I'm quite impressed with even htough there is no vapor cloud when I exhale- I didn't think I'd be able to stand that, but it's been a very pleasing experience for me. Check out my thread on the Ruyan #1 disposable cigar- it's a logn read, but it'll give you a good idea of how hte devices perform- not to confuse you with more choices, but it's another option to concider down hte road. I also like the LoongTotem, but it's expensive, and kind of a crap shoot on the batteries, but it gives loads of vapor but the taste is not too great but I've only tried the regular tobacco cartridges, some say hte other flavors are better. Just two more devices for concideration, but on the loongtotem, it's probably better to wait until either hteir prices drop, or another similar device comes out that is better rpiced.

I had a pen style and then got a 901 from e-cigs.co.uk
I think this is a lot better it has a better draw than a pen feels more like a real .... And one thing that I have found is there is a little hole on the atomizer it draws in the air. If you want a good kick during your draw keep covering it uncovering it like playing a flute. I know this sounds daft its a bit hard to explain you will see when you get it.
I know its a bit late but you would of been as well getting a few spare batteries, charger and atomizers when you are starting out.
I went through hell the first week with having to wait for the battery to charge up.

Thanks everyone for all of your responses, much appreciated. I Think I'll definately have to grab a spare battery and atomizer next, then look at some of the other units to add to the collection. Hopefully the 901 will restore the faith in e-smoking that the e-health cigarette cruelly took away from me! Many thanks again, it's great to know there are so many helpful people here.

I beleive it iwll- especially if oyu don't mind refilling too much- Everyoen says it smokes liek a steam engine going up a mountain, so I think you'll be well pleased with the vapor. This forum should have a "Recommended Starter Devices" sticky htread which I beleive would include the 901 as the top pick for the mini- it's definately hte top first pick of most- I wish I had chosen it myself when I started Esmoking, but I didn't & was dissappointed myself with my choice. Coulda saved myself much frustration had I chosen hte 901

Yeah, agreed. It's a funny thing but at the start I bought multiple pens and superminis but ignored the mini (can't even explain why). About a month in and following Darcy and Kit's crusading I fell to temptation and bought a black DSE901 from Smokester. Great move and it's one of my faves now (has put my Superminis out of work - they were my pub ... of choice until the 901 showed up). I'd recommend them as the best starter device.

Yes, I think that you have made a good choise. I am e -smoker for 3 weeks (I smoke still regular cigarettes - 3 a day) but I am going to switch completlly to e-smoking in next 3 months. I have tried to switch in e-smoking 6 month ago but I didn't make it, because I had a lot of problems with my e-cigarettes (faulty atomizers, batterias ...). But now I have mini cigarette DS901/b and also Janty KISS cigarette. Both e-cigarette are working and they are really help me to quit smoking real cigarettes.

I wish you happy e- smoking,

Karmen

I've had my 901b from simon for 2 or 3 days now and i havent had the need for a real ciggie at all. The mini performs flawlessly with the standard carts.
This too is my first e-cig and yep ...im a convert now.
Looking at getting the pen style classic next purchase for use at home because of the better battery life and larger carts but the 901 will be my new sidearm while im out and about. must remember to quote ECM username when ordering for my 10 free carts next time tho..
