Ok, I just got my first cartos in yesterday. I got them blank so I could add my own juice. I put one kind of juice in one and it worked great. I went to try another type of juice and am not sure I put enough in the carto.. when I went to take a vape I tasted nothing but burnt filler. I thought putting more juice in would fix it. It didn't. Have I just ruined that carto? Once you 'burn' them are they always going to taste burnt or if I get enough juice in there will it be OK?

There's lots of variables. I use 510 cartos, and the ones from Boge hold substantially more than the SLB cartos. So, there isn't an answer like "17 drops, wait two minutes, then add two more" type of method.

Personally, I use Johnson Creek about 90% of the time, and they give you a squeeze dropper. So, with the dropper, it fits perfectly above the hole on the power side of the carto, and I just push juice in slowly until it drips out the other side. Then I replace the cap, shake the carto in between a paper towel like a thermometer, and top it off if the filler isn't saturated.

With other liquids, I drip from the top, rotating the cartridge with each drip. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 - 25 drops is generally enough to get things going.
