I have a 510 JOYE with atty/cart system.

I've found that if I blow as much juice as possible out of my atty when I'm changing a flavor and then dry burn the rest, it pretty much resolves the problem of atty build-up. I literally dry burn for about two-three seconds and puff out the excess smoke, and it usually stops smoking fairly quickly. Or if I vape one flavor all day, for a few days, I'll dry burn once or twice during the 3-4 one flavor time range, and the dry-burn is only for a few seconds. :)

I was really nervous doing the dry burn for the first time. I had read so many horror stories about "popping" an atty or it being "dead". I would hold down the button and count "one, two" let go. I would do that over and over until the popping and crackling stopped then I would hold down the button and count "one, two, three" let go, until I began seeing the coil turn orange. I continued that until the coil was orange all the way across and then I only do it a couple more times after that. I only do each dry burn once. I don't rinse and repeat. Seems to be working so far.

Just did my first series of dry burns. Heck yes, I'm doing this again.

Was beginning to think that my atties were gonzo- even with regular cleaning (Either boiling or alcohol rinsing) they were slowly giving less and less. I tried to dry burn them last week, couldn't do it- they were too gunked up, and the cutoff on my batteries wouldn't get them hot enough to burn the gunk off.

Tried it again tonight with my new USB passthrough- took forever, and I was scared I was going to pop them, but they took it pretty well. A few minutes of heat a little, let go, heat a little, let go...and eventually they burned clean.

It's like having new atties- so much vapor!!!!!!!!
