Question about dry burning

Does dry burning wear out your coils cuz technically you're heating it up almost like repeated use and while I know dry burning is needed to extend the life of your atomizer I guess this more of a curious question..my vaping knowledge is not yet quite up to par hence my question

Technically yes, but also not as damaging as vaping Ejuice is to the coil. The main purpose of dry burning, is to clean and condition the coil. When rewicking. Also is used in the building process to make the wire easier to work with and for adjustments/optimization. There are oils and chemicals on most wire, left over from the manufacturing, pre-use torching and in device dry burning, removes these deposits.
