Have you ever gone into a vapor store and made a "Pity" buy?

We have a new store close to home that just opened last Friday. Their vape selection is HUGE, but I currently have all the vape I need. I bought an ego adapter for (beauty ring) for a Protank II and a Vivi Nova tank for the heck of it. My wife bought a pretty ego type battery and a lanyard. None of the stuff was really needed but I wanted to check out the shop.

So, pretty much a pity buy since I would have felt badly about just walking out purchasing nothing. I was hoping they'd have a nice selection of drip tips but nothing. Pricing was very attractive though.

So yeah, I didn't HAVE to buy anything but it led me to wonder if others feel the same way and bought stuff that really wasn't needed at the time.

Haha, a pity buy is how i got my eGo, after just buying a pack of cigarettes, i had gone inside because i used to have a 510 and i wanted to take a look. No intentions on purchases. So i get helped by this cute girl round 20, and since i'm 23, i spent about 20 minutes flirting and having her mix me juices to try. In the end, i was just gonna walk out but would have felt like .... so i flirted more and bought a eGo 650 starter kit for wayyyy to much, still go back to buy juices though.

Yeah, I'm curious too - get a date?

I regularly buy something I don't need in my local shop! Even when I "need" something, I usually end up spending about twice what I had planned on....! I don't care, I'm glad there is one in this little town....

In my experience, a new shop gets new things in regularly, anyway....gotta go see what's new!

I have 22 vape shops listed on yelp in the area. I am on a journey to visit at least one a week. I try flavors till I find one that I like and buy just that if they don't have something that catches my eye. There are 3 so far that I will never go back to, one of them I did not buy anything from. It was all over priced knock off stuff and prepackaged juice I have never heard of in 2 years of internet research.

I have wound up with a lot of 10 mil bottles of some good juice for variety and plenty of spare coils.

THe closest thing to B&M we have here is a counter in a tattoo parlor. I went in there with my REO + RM2 and blew them away with clouds but I also picked up a second protank. I know they want to expand their selection and this small town it is a matter of getting the word out about better gear. BLU is god here. SO I made a purchase to show support for what they are trying to do.

I have. I have a small vape shop near by and I paid way to much for my ego twist starter kit there. That's cool tho, I was a noob and needed a battery and tank instead of my V2 BS I was trying out. But I want the guy to stay in business so vaping gets around in my town. He mixes some pretty decent juices so I buy a couple of my favorites there, but I am not buying anymore gear there. I felt kinda bad walking in last weekend with my MVP sampling his juices... I paid $40 for it online. Less than I paid for the Ego Twist and a ts3. But he knows this anyways, he is just making a living.

That doesn't count as a pity buy, that's a hormonal induced spending event. :)
