I feel bad buy my wife and I both vape and just bought both of us new batteries and Nautilus minis. I should mention we have about 5 different ego style batteries and 4 different clearmizers and I am always on the search for a better taste that is economical. Well I just discovered the Kanger Sub tank and Aspire Atlantis and would like to buy one tomorrow and of course now I need a battery capable of sub ohms.

Here's the deal I told my wife I wanted to get a new tank and battery but just a few weeks ago I bought the Nautilus mini for her and I with better batteries and she responds with can we just use what we got for a while? Is it bad I'm still thinking about going ahead and buying one tomorrow? Have you ever had to hide your purchases or just fudge on what it costs? And if you're going to get the evil eye which is more worth it the Atlantis or Subtank? I'm thinking Subtank.

Absolutely not! Lol
For me I justify a purchase by reminding everyone its still cheaper than buying a carton of Marlborough that would only last 2 wks if I was lucky..and give them a choice of which should I buy...needless to say I get my vaping needs without much of a argument 100% of the time...lol
I would go with the Atlantis.. I have two
and they're great!

To be honest, I wish I had enjoyed some of my gear longer than I did. The first week of July I got Aerotanks and new batteries. The first week of August I tried a Kayfun, and the Aerotanks were abandoned. Then the first week of September I tried a Rosev2, and the Kayfun got abandoned.

So I see her point. Enjoy the Nautilus for a little bit :)

Meh. I buy about 2/3 of my own stuff. A few times a month my husband knowingly or unknowingly treats me to an order from ITC Vapes or a new tank here and there. But he smokes and I don't, plus I handle our finances and we come out ahead every month because I am not a "shopaholic" in any other way than Vaping.

I also bust my .... in this household...he makes a lot more than I do but I do everything required to keep a home running (including his two teens!!) So I don't ever feel like I'm "taking" something. I think it only gets dicey if you put your household in financial danger. Whatever keeps you off the smokes, man :)

Oh, and I like the Subtank a lot more than the Atlantis, but your mileage may vary :)

My wife is a non-smoker and doesn't vape either.

She'd be happy if I went outside to blow clouds, and I do, sometimes.

I do fudge numbers, and use my credit cards that she doesn't have access to, to buy vape gear.

I buy stuff for friends and family with my card and they give me cash or PP in order to hide the extent of their addiction to their spouses.

It is quite invigorating.

Oh man. What a problem to have

I am very lucky. Even though my hubby never smoked nor does he vape, he doesn't say a word about my purchases. To be fair, I don't spend a lot. I created a spreadsheet early on and even with some of my more expensive expenditures, I am still a few thousand ahead. :)

Yeah, but look at your picture Robin...you're hot...you wear leather... And you have a really big gun...oh, and you're a vampire too!!!
Lol :facepalm::facepalm::lol:

My daughter and I both vape. We live together and share expenses. The vaping supplies usually come out of my disposable income. We are on a tight budget, and usually discuss things before we pull the plug on purchases. We have managed to avoid "shinyitis", but I have to admit that I do have a weakness for eliquids. I do wait until our stash is getting low before I order anything, though, and then I always double check with her on finances before I place an order. It works for us, and we manage to stay on budget.

I used to, but when I put that ticker in my signature I started to realize how much money I WASN'T spending. I've probably spent around a thousand dollars in gear and liquids (way too much on liquids I've had to throw out because I just can't vape them), maybe a little more. But it's not anywhere near what I would have spent on cartons. And I finally think I've started slowing down. I finally have a variety of setups that I'm satisfied with so I only really need liquids. And those are relatively cheap.

Sadly, yes. I had to hide the fact that I vape from my parents for a while - even sent vape-mail to a friend's house for a bit. My Mom knows now, but I don't think my Dad does. (Clarification: I moved back in with my parents during my return to college) I'm expecting 2 packages of vape-mail this week and bought new liquid today and always worry that one of them is going to say something, which is why I try to buy my stuff from B&M stores near me - easier to conceal that way. lol.
