Vaped straight VG or PG? No flavorings, nic or anything else. I'm just getting into DIY and am trying to decide on a base. I have some straight VG juices and I like them but they are just too thick. I guess my question is can you really tell the difference between 60/40 PG to VG, 70/30 PG to VG, 80/20 PG to VG and so on.

I find that VG has a really weak throat hit and weak flavor.

Try a 80/20 PG/VG mix. You'll like it. PG throat hit and extra vape production from the VG.

I agree. Straight VG completely lacks in flavor and is waaay to thick. I ran out of PG one week and resorted to vaping Snus soaked in Unflavored VG and I hated it. Dont get me wrong, great concept and it DID get the job done until new juice arrived, just not that enjoyable imo.
I usually mix 80/20 PG to VG as well I feel you get the best of both flavor and vapor worlds.

Isn't it strange how so many of us have different opinions when it comes to personal tastes, lol...

I've come to settle on 50/50 PG/VG myself... and when I feel the TH lacking, I'll further the delution with vodka.

So I guess it all boils down to experiment experiment experiment and find whatever does it for "YOU".
