Fantastic feedback! Seems like most have experienced a decrease in overall stress levels, that's fantastic.

Reason I asked for the nicotine levels you guys are using is because I have thoughts regarding nicotine levels and levels of stress. I think long term, going low-nic is a much better bet if you have anxious/stressed nerves. Funnily enough, the few here who wrote they are still stressed all wrote they are vaping a lot of high-nic juice (not a lot of people wrote though, but still). Interesting!

On my second week of vaping now. The first week was stressful because I keep wanting to light up a cig and the mental battle was what stressed me out. This week seems a little better now that I'm getting used to vaping, but the thought still pops up, especially standing outside at work with a bunch of smokers.

I fully agree, it's such a mental battle. That's all it is, imo, though. It's only mental, cuz if you think it out, you really don't want something that tastes that nasty and makes you smell so bad. Always wanted to kick myself in those 1st few weeks for lighting up. My vape doesn't treat me that way.

I'd be willing to bet the smokers you mentioned are also having a mental battle about it, since they see you there satisifed with your vape. I've been questioned over and over about it. No real converts yet, at work.

Smoking is stressful. I have to say that vaping can be, but once you find your mg and your flavor, pretty smooth sailing.

Increased. It began on day 3 of quitting. Nicotine isn't something that calms me. I had to go on Paxil months after I quit because it only kept getting worse.

Edit: I have GAD. I began smoking in the first place immediately after my first panic attack. Smoking helped self medicate. So it makes sense the uncontrollable anxiety came back once I stopped smoking. I'm probably an exception to the rule.

i am 2 weeks no cigs vaping about 5 ml per day at 16mg. my first week was at 18mg but i also found it to be too high, i feel better at 16mg also.
Overall i have noticed my stress levels going down. i feel calmer than ever and i think a lot of that is because my blood pressure levels not being as high as when i was smoking.

not saying ive been perfect ive been dealing with equipment breakdowns and snowstorms here at work but i havent felt nearly as stressed. i feel like the vaping makes the nic cravings not as urgent as when i smoked. at first when i was chain vaping at 18 i had headaches and still vaped on trying to calm the urges. but it was just too much. now i can vape as much as i want and be okay at 16 but since ive gone down i still use it less and less.

i would definately say its an improvement overall so far.

I was about 1.25 pack a day smoker. I started at 32mg/ml which was probably a little too strong for me and may have caused a few of the jitters when switched.. Probably should have started at 24. I'm now down to 18 and vape 4 ml per day give or take a ml or two depending on the day and how often I vape.

I think it's much like smoking...when you were stressed out more you tended to smoke more. About the only time I really get antsy is after being in a 2-3 hour meeting. Towards the end you can't wait to get out of there so you can start vaping again...but that was true when I was a smoker as well.

I'm on my 4th week at 24 mg. I did try once before with a 510 automatic which broke in a week due to my own fault of getting fluid in the battery. This time I went with a good setup, Ego-C (2 batteries and 1 pass-through) and some good clearomizers, manual of course. That made all the difference.

I find that I'm not craving most of the time, but when I first wake up in the morning I debate about if should drink 2 glasses of water, go take a pee or find my e-cig. Sorry for being so blunt but I'm sure most of you do the same thing too. Anyways, after the morning gets going, I vape like a fiend for 5 min and its ok. That morning smoke is the hard one for me as it used to be the first thing on the list. After eating is hard too, Its a 15 year old habit and that part is hard to break. For me, its not the cigarette so much as the action of going outside (always smoked outside) and taking that time out to relax.

Well, I haven't given in yet and gum and patches have never gotten me this far so like all of you, I'll keep vaping.

Thanks to all of you, and this forum.

Since I've started exclusively vaping, I've found my anxiety level has gone down. I feel great! It's been snowy and i've been inside, on my couch, enjoying my vape, for the most part though. Hopefully this path will continue :) The times that worry me most I'll fall off the wagon is at work, dealing with rude @ssholes. They make me want to light up like no other ;) But that feeling passes quickly.

Yeah that was my day too. I've noticed I'm less anxious. Analogs had a ton of anxiety with them that vaping doesn't. No way to explain this to you though... its just very different. I had kind of a blue day today but our schedule has been so wonky and I've missed so much work that I'm worried but I'm not freaking out! Normally I would be freaking out at losing two weeks pay in a month (first week of January was winter break.. last week we missed all but one day.. off today not because of snow but inservice for teachers)... I calmly sat down and handled it. I haven't wanted to smoke at all.

I've had a few stressful time's during the last 4 weeks, my grandfather died, granted he was in his 90's but still hard. All this on top of other stuff, but there seems to be a community out there aka here that is helping me and hopefully you. I wanted to go back to analogs so many times, but the longer I go, the less I want to break.

I can breath better, have more energy and feel in general very good. Why would I wan't to go back?

I have been vaping for a month now and have noticed a decrease. Which I never really thought about until I read your post! Situations that arise where normally I would flip and have a smoke, I find it's way easier to calm down and work past it. I don't even HAVE to have my vape. I'm finding faster and faster it is for the enjoyment of the vape and flavor. Kinda like men partaking in a cigar time to time lol. Keep up the awesome work! :)
