I saw a person in the classifieds selling one of those and went to look at the link he posted and was like...what the he!!, thats the GLV! I don't have one but that still erks me!
That's where I got the link from was the classifieds. I can't believe people could do this to another American. So sucks azzzzz! I could see China doing it but they don't fall under our copyright laws.
That's the billet and it has been around quite awhile. While I don't know which came out first I can say I saw the billet before I saw the glv. This isn't anything new or recent I do know that.
Here's a link to the ecig mod database page that had the billet on it. It even has a grimmgreen video review. So I don't think this is a case of another knockoff just similar design. Could be wrong as I can't seem to find a release date.

Thank you for letting us know basementcat. It just looks a GLV that's why I made this post.

The GLV has a very clear creation history and the billet is merely a recent rip-off.
Yeah I don't know which came first. Even with the comments on grimms vid you can't be for sure. He may have received it far after production. It very well may be just a crappy copy. I for sure wouldn't ever buy an ugly aluminum stick with a $2 madvapes horn button, but maybe others would. Glv is the only one I care about and if this is truly a knockoff of the original glv I hope the billet site goes under. Then again could be an unlikely coincidence. *shrugs* just my 2 copper.
Ok now I see where jay has posted his response and it is indeed a rip off copy. So disregard my prior reluctance to agree. It is 100% definitely a tipoff design. Sad that the guy who made it was actually a friend of jays. Ugh.
Also just read that this ugly wanna be glv ships with UNprotected batteries and it doesn't show a picture of a venting hole or anything. So if you wanna blow your hand off with a mini grenade vaporizer that looks like an aluminum broom handle then by all means buy the billet. So sad that people would toss a 20 year friendship away for some money. That's the worst kind of person.

Yeah, I thought about that, too. But you would have to "Like" it first... 'course you could always 'unlike' it when you were done. Ha!!
Yeah I actually saw 'the billet' in Grimm's review and then found the GLV from Jay's comments, about how his 'friend' ripped off his design. Besides the fact Grimm said they didn't machine some of the edges and he felt like he'd cut himself on it someday, it just doesn't compare in looks to Jay's product.
