just posted this over in the technical issues forum but I thought maybe some of the modders here could help aswell

Ok so I was making this 5 volt box mod as some of you may know, I got it to work when I gave up on the 5 volts and switchhed it to run on a a single 3.6 14500 battery

Well now they wont ....ing charge...

I left them on charger for 4 hours... nothing

and aditional 3 hours got me .......

I think it might be this getto ... charger but im not sure
its one I got from mad vapes
AG-126 Lithium Ion Battery Charger

just noticed this but it doesnt look like this one that they sent me

As you can see its smaller and thinner than the one advertized online, output is different aswell

has anyone else had problems with this charger???

Also I dont think the batteries are fried, they seem to have a small charge left on them, just over 2 volts

Is there anything I can do? or is there any advice you guys can offer???

Might I ask what switch you are using? If you have that round ball tact switch this could be bad. the regulator 4 pin saves the switch. Going to 3.7 without that protection may have taken out a under ratted switch. the battery is more then likely fine if that is the case and it sounds very possible to me.

the batteries are only a week old and ive only charged them once, I wasnt aware you coulnt let them drain all the way down before charging, how can you tell when they are due for a charge?

The ones I use, when vapor drops off, I put them on the charger. Make sure it's not just an empty cart/carto first.
Every so often, I meter them just to see how low they are going. On a 3.7v mod, it's normally around 3.3v when I get a big drop in vapor. Using a Ti board, it will go down to around 3v before it's really noticeable. I haven't made but one mod with a regulator, so I can't really say when the vapor drops off & it's time to charge. I also check periodically to see what the fully charged(solid green light) voltage is. It should be 4.2v.

You batteries are the protected ones, right? What kind are they - 14500, 18650, etc.?

No legitimate Li-Ion charger will charge a battery that has dropped that low.

From Battery U.
The safety circuit is designed to cut off the current path if the battery is inadvertently discharged below 2.50V/cell. At this voltage, most circuits render the battery unserviceable and a recharge on a regular charger is not possible.
