Haven't had a cigarette in 5 days

So I stumbled upon e-smoking through another forum that i frequent, didn't really think much of it until I had a fire caused by a stray ember. That's when I made my decision to switch over. UPS said I'd have my package last friday but i missed their delivery because of work. Won't get it till tomorrow because they had 3 days off smoked the last smoke i had on wed, figured i'd last till fri...well haven't had any cravings yet, just been looking forward to getting my e-cig. Guess I've been more of a recreational smoker, only smoked maybe 5-6 a day. Thought it would be a lot harder, hmmph.

Very well done in not having a cigarette, maybe you should try and give up altogether?

If you can do it for this long then you never know, you could surprise yourself and give up the dreaded nicotine altogether.

Congrats - I went 5 weeks without any cigs then some monster took over & I smoked a real cig again even knowing how bad it smelled & my hubby gave me that look & I ordered my 1st ecig, a super mini, I smoke more out of habit & after 15yrs I was lost without a replacement or as hubby says "my binky" - good luck to you

I thought about that, but I think part of why I have been able to last this long is because I know i'll be getting my e-cig soon. I really enjoy nicotine, so eventually I think I would cave.

Congrats on that. I think its best to get any numbers out of your head and just accept the fact that you are now an ex cigarette smoker and this is your new way of life. I heard someone say once, "You don't break a habit, you start a new one" Oh geez I think it was Dr Phil lol.

Just want to share some of my experiences when just starting vaping.

First I bought a smokestik which is a RN4082 I believe, and I also bought a Ruyan Vegas classic. The carts that came with the smokestik are crap, they can produce a lot of vapor, but i experienced no noticeable throat hit. The Ruyan Vegas is my best experience so far, good amount of vapor if you don't inhale, and a much better throat hit. One thing that happened is i accidentally dropped it on my wood floor, when i drew i got lots of liquid. I took the mouth piece off and lots of juice in the atomizer, cleaned that up, and works good now, but probably shortened the life of the cigar, time will tell by how much. Also noticed that it's better to vape it with the battery up and not down towards the floor, is that true? Or is that because I dropped it and somehow caused leak in the cart?

Also, I was a little worried about my smokestik, and as I didn't have any other carts or juice on hand, I dripped some juice from the Vegas's cart onto it, and wow! what a difference! Could even inhale and blow out lots of vapor! Wonder why that is?
