And I'm starting to gain weight again. When I don't have an E-Cig in my hand, I have a piece of food in my hand. When I'm not vaping, I'm eating. I remember when my grandmother quit smoking analogs, she gained a lot of weight, and more than 8 years after quitting, she has not returned to her previous weight.

In the meantime, no one has a problem with McDonald's sponsoring the Olympics while Winston is a big no-no.

Well, in all fairness, training for the Olympics is probably the one way to really burn off those Big Macs effectively. Granted, if you ever stop training without slowing down the McD's calorie levels too, you'll probably blow up like the Hindenburg.

I've lost about ten lbs since I started vaping, myself, and I'm pretty sure it would come back if I stopped. It just curbs the urge for me. Would vaping nic-free for a while be an option for you?

If you have an oral fixation, the best non smoking/vaping snacks from my experience:

Carrots
Pretzels
Celery

The big problem...all of those are wonderful vessels to bring fatty stuff like ranch to your mouth. By themselves they are pretty good at keeping away the pounds.

Very true. I eat carrots and pretzels like crazy. Pretzels - I dip in some yellow or dijon mustard which are practically harmless. Something I have started to do recently was to make my own ranch. There is a spice shop in town that is like a little slice of heaven if you like to cook. You can pick up a spice packet for buttermilk rance and mix your own. Substitute in low fat mayo and you have a ranch that is tons better tasting than anything in a bottle and a whole hell of a lot better for you than the "lite" versions that they load with other crap to make it taste better.

Sorry, that might have been random, but I've been making my own dips and dressing with their spices and I won't buy anything out of a bottle now.

Random, maybe...but I LOVE spicy ranch myself. Amazing with carrots.

Funny how this has turned into a "making your own ranch" thread. If you really want to cut some of the calories use some plain yogurt, start off with half and half measure and then lower the ratio of mayo, try the greek yogurts they are a bit creamier if thats what you crave. Bet with those spices, it will be delicious.
