Having an issue with my Kayfun Lite clone

Just came in the mail earlier today. It's by the company EHPro. When I was done building it, my Tesla read "short" and the resistance read 0.0 ohms. I thought something was screwed up in the coil, so I rebuilt a new one. Still reads the same. So I thought it might be my Tesla. Threw it on my friend's iTaste SVD, and it did the same thing. Or rather, did nothing. and my Tesla still fires my basic drip and my iClear 30. Then I went to put it back on my Tesla, and it actually fired when it wasn't completely screwed in. It was maybe halfway in.. very loose. And it doesn't fire consistently because of how loose it is. Is it possible the connection is somehow messed up? It seems when it's fully connected is when it doesn't work. But seeing as how I can't actually see what's touching when, I can't figure it out.

First thing -

Remove the coil and re-read on your device.

If it still reads short, it is the kayfun. It could be as simple as the Positive pad twisted or the center pin off to one side.
It could even be the relation to your particular device causing an issue.

If you don't have an ohm meter and/or a multimeter and know how to use it you should not be building rba's

Never should have reached that point. Buy a Cheap multimeter and use it.
Read your coils and finished build before attempting to use.

Is your coil resting on the Deck? instant short
Is your Center pin to tight?(Pulled in to far)
Is your Center pin Loose?
Is the positive deck plate twisted?

Plenty to check out and Much to learn about.
